Quicksilver Tongue Incense + Powder
Quicksilver Tongue herbal mix, consecrated via fumigation and prayers during Sphere + Sundry’s election, later ground alongside vanilla bean, sandalwood, myriad resins, essential oils, and opal. Flecks of precious metal alloys: silver + gold (white gold), gold + copper (red gold).
Made into a combustible incense powder whose smoke banishes blocks to creativity, lending a playful and potentially productive (if you sit down and work at it!) atmosphere to the room in which it is burned.
Smoke bathe the body, offer to the Muses and Spirits of your creative Sphere, fumigate Instruments of Art(e) — musical instruments, paint brushes, pens and quills, papers, canvas, the throat for singers, the feet and shoes for dancers, the computer, mouse, and keyboard for digital creators, or whatever mediums you employ for creative works.

Pure, uncut herbs, resins, and essential oils. Nothing artificial, and no fillers.
Offered in your choice of 1/2 oz glass vial with cork top or a 2 oz bulk pot.
Note that Sphere + Sundry’s Incense Powders are designed to be burned *without* charcoal, on beds of premium ash in a firesafe dish or plate. Pour ash, then pat or use a tool to create a relatively smooth surface. Pour the desired amount of Incense Powder into the palm of your non-dominant hand, and use the other to assemble a thin peaked mound, line, or sigil, pinch by pinch. These can be quite thin if desired. The neater and more ridged your shape is, the better it will burn! Light the top of the ridge to ignite.
Taking time to prepare Incense in this way can be a meditative and centering experience, and allows the practitioner to create custom burn times with zero waste. If your line ends up too long, simply use a knife to ‘cut’ the fresh powder away from the ignited portion to use later.

This series is sweet, hopping fun and excellent for creative work. It is best for inspiration, not so much for precise, detailed work. A lot of playful Gemini energy that is not necessarily for facts and research, but it is great for storytelling.
worn consistently in my work shoes during jupiter in gemini, QST wd supply one choice thing to say or record a day: useful, but it. but, since jup exalted, i've been drafted by its long feathered foundational tail into writing while drudging in a way i could not before conceive.
The smell of this incense makes me think of a specific dish my dad used to cook when I was little. It used quite a few herbs, and it might be well that some are identical to the ones that found their way into the incense blend. What is interesting though is that my dad has both sun and mercury in Gemini. When I was a kid, he used to read me books to sleep in the most wonderful, theatrical way, employing various voices and manners of speaking for different characters. Such a loving expression of mercury in Gemini really does seem like an accurate anecdote for a magical creation that is accompanied by Venus in the mix.
During a period of unemployment, I used this incense weekly. After about a month, my husband had accumulated a combination of writing contracts and painting commissions that came close to paying our bills. I also started the process of launching a creative business. Fortunately he was able to secure a new day job but getting close to supporting us as a working artist was exciting. And my business is still growing.
The magical effects of this incense were so immediately palpable. I used it to help me creatively for an audition, and what I noticed immediately afterwards that all timing things seemed to go perfectly - all points of my journey to and from the audition went exactly as planned which is something I can struggle with and be anxious about. It also helped me feel interested and comfortable enough to show my creativity in the audition, and I ended up landing a part I was happy enough with, which hasn't happened in years.
A lovely smelling incense from one of my favorite S+ creations, it is the perfect way to prepare and maintain a container for creative work. It’s equally good at preparing and holding space for writing prayers as it is for choreographing a sacred dance, preparing a sigil campaign, or any other magical and creative project.
Wow!! What delightful incense. Using it towards my creative pursuits, it really gives me a burst of energy and a push to work creatively. I also noticed it made me even more sociable, my energy to interact feels endless. Just make sure not to use it toool close to bedtime. I've also used this for a party and it made socializing really smooth!
I love this incense, and I can't wait to use it as an offering and to use it in for my creative works. Right now, I have used it almost exclusively as a mood-setter as I prepare dinner for my family! I want joy and love to be infused in our meals, and for dinner time to be a time of love and pleasure, not...stress. This incense really helps me relax in those last few hours of my day with small children. It helps me remember what's important and honor that in a beautiful way. I feel like the spirit of this series gets infused into the food I cook!

I often burn incense related to specific goals in my creative writing endeavors, helping to set the stage for inspiration and progress to happen. This incense is the one I most frequently turn to for such use. Works great on its own, and pairs very nicely with other materia! I've often gone hours and hours working away on something without losing my creative streak, letting my imagination flow with ease. This incense has also helped me get back on track when my attention starts to drift, reminding me why I love to write. I have quite a few incense vials from S+S, but none have been used up as much as this one!
A reliable friend in the studio or workspace. I used this for a brainstorming/ vision board-type session and the amount of ideas/ advancement I made in just 3 days was mind boggling. I was on fire and I credit QT with helping me make great strides in a limited timeframe.
I LOVE Quicksilver Tongue! Which might be because of where it falls in my chart. The oil and tinctures are my go to, but the incense are great to set the space for any creative workings. I find them especially helpful if I feel stuck. It's like a creative blockage clearing for the space I'm in but also my vessel
I used this incense before and at the beginning of important presentations and meetings with key decision makers in my field. Will smoke bath myself, give smoke baths to my Mercury, Hera (my statue of Hera is with a peacock), and Jupiter statues. And then let it finish smoking on my table to set up the right ambience. Works very well every time.
This is one of my favorites particularly for writing or getting into the creative zone. I’m 2/3 of the way through my second vial and I am constantly amazed by how potent this magic is. It’s a portal opener, it transports one to dreamier, more expansive vistas. I also find that it enhances surrealism and opens up channels to alternate realities. It’s a beautiful aid for creative blocks and monotony by enhancing fluidity, increasing absurdism and facilitating change. It’s weird, magical and feels like a mini psychedelic journey.
I know I'm not the first one to say this but something about the QST series is just All Around Good. Easy to interact with and effective. This incense is my favorite to burn before meeting with a client or recording a podcast. It also sets the perfect mood to write and create in general, I find it flows pretty well with whatever the activity is. Adjustable and fluid. I love blending this with Regulus III for immaculate vibes. 10/10.
Hard to overstate the value of this incense as an offering, especially to such intermediary, social spirits as the Muses, the Graces/Kharites, and any other Powers with whom you might seek communion and conversation. It's been near-universally well-received!
QT is one of my favorite series, and this incense is one of my favorite forms. It has really helped move some blocks in the art studio, allowing me to feel more grounded and flowing with my work. It smells so nice, too, as all the items from this series seem to.

This incense has been fascinating. I’ve used it to write eloquent letters and to inspire artwork. It’s a different type of inspired communication and absolutely lovely!
The energy of this series is just so friendly and airy and amazing! The oil and incense give me the sensation of being blessed by the moving kisses of many emerald feathers The incense really does get the pleasant mercurial vibes flowing and encourages not only mental agility but creativity and a sense of fun and fluidity, which can allow for both inspired creative work but also an easier workflow for otherwise more aggravating chores (of the clerical nature).
Highly recommended for both Mercurial and Venusian workings and ovations, likely a positive candidate for planetary remediations; plays very well with other series and people new to magick/materia!
After burning this incense on Mercury's day, I had the most unexpected conversation with a stranger and realized the undeniable influences of this election only later when thinking about the wittiness of our banter, charisma, and depth of conversation. Shortly after, I began reading a work of fiction and found myself drawn into the story, as if I were there myself - something I have seldom experienced in adulthood. I've used other items from this series in social situations and have always had a wonderful time, but this incense in particular has struck me as particularly potent. Another gem from S+.
Pure inspiration. I absolutely adore Quicksilver Tongue incense. The scent and energetic charge are uplifting and complex - it helps with focus and also brings on a relaxed, dreamy state. It’s been really helpful with a writing project, and just puts me in a good mood in general.
