The Divine Physician’s Healing Salve
100% organic extra virgin olive oil infused with a ritually consecrated + organic herbal blend of calendula, St. John’s wort, yellowdock root, comfrey root, mullein, skullcap, arnica, goldenseal, balm of gilead, and propolis during Sphere + Sundry’s 2023 Ras Alhague election. Organic beeswax, and essential oils of frankincense, wintergreen, and eucalyptus.
Apply to the bottoms of the feet, low back, and shoulders, in addition to areas of localized tension. Spend 1-2 minutes rubbing into the muscles to aid penetration of medicinal properties.
Great for relaxation, especially before bed.

For anyone sensitive to the smell, we do recommend application to the feet only before putting socks on and washing the hands.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Those who are taking blood-thinning drugs or who have bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia, should not use this offering due to the presence of wintergreen oil. Since it can be absorbed through the skin, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also not use this salve, or any herbally infused products without prior approval from trusted, knowledgeable care providers.

So glad I decided to try this balm. When I use it to massage pain in my neck, chest, and shoulders I find I can sit more patiently and attentively with this kind of self care. My hands have felt drawn toward regions of pain and tension I hadn't addressed before, allowing for more thorough and effective working through. It's also been great for foot massages. Stiff muscles are relieved the skin glows with a healthier and more supple quality.
This salve is truly amazing at relieving body aches and is perfect for any time you need comfort. Once applied, the pain seems to melt away. I especially love using it on my feet and shoulders before bed, it really helps me relax and sleep. I’m so glad I bought the larger size.
The salve is more subtle than the annointing oil, but also easier to carry when travelling. I apply the salve to areas that are in pain, and it is able to bring alleviation and rest. The feeling after application is reassuring and calming. The salve has a bright, sunny smell that is enjoyable.
And layer with a spritz of Asclepius water, and 2-peas sized dollop of Asclepius body butter. Yes, my pain has significantly reduced. Yes, I regret not buying the bigger size when I could've! A must for anyone suffering from chronic pain, a literal balm for supporting others suffering similarly
A beautiful salve! Definitely helps with pain relief in tight shoulders. I love it before bed or before a massage. I gave some to my partner and he said it irritated his skin, for potential sensitive skin folks. I have never noticed any issues and use it regularly. I also wonder about readiness - as others have mentioned, Asclepius is not for those who are not ready to do the work of healing, and does tend to shed light on issues that may be happening under the surface.
Love this salve. It has a sweet mint smell that is not overpowering. I use it during the day and don’t notice any sleepiness. I used it every day for a week on my knees & feet. The next week I didn’t need it at all because my aches & pains were gone! Didn’t notice any staining from the salve either.
This Salve has been resourcing for the times I need to enter a healing chrysalis and self-tend without guilt. I feel like it's a reconstitution formula - a salve for mending the metaphorical bones back together. I admire its work and its cause - it feels like a determined, direct kind of healing and brings me into a deeper reflection on getting to the root of things.
one of the best allies for body pains and cramps. i get really bad shin splints, but 10 mins of massaging this salve into my legs with a body gua sha and accupressure pen melts all the achey pains away. i personally love the smell (but i also love the smell of salonpas and tiger balm). i will also note that in a sense this salve assists with sleep by helping manage pain, but it doesn't necessarily facilitate sleep itself (at least for me!) however pairing this + saturn in aquarius salve always leads to sleep that is both physically and mentally healing. highly recommended S+S staple!
I really think Asclepius materials are my all time favorite. They are excellent for nearly any occasion, especially for clearing any funk in your sphere. It is energetically both cleansing and soothing, which is a delightful combination.
I have a bit of a difficult relationship with Asclepius items sometimes - some of the items work really well and gently for me, whereas others induce more of a purge/healing crisis that I need to be careful with. I think this item falls in the latter category for me. It does have its use but I feel I need to be careful not to slather, and only use it when it feels like the right specific tool - more medicinal (and to be taken more seriously therefore) than the body butter for example, which is more forgiving.
I love this salve. It smells wonderful; herbal with a touch of sweetness, and not at all like vaporub. The salve is a deep, gorgeous yellow. I use it after praying to Asclepius for healing and pain relief, and it’s been very helpful to me. I’ll definitely repurchase it when I’m done with this tin.

Using The Divine Physician’s Healing Salve along with Cap II Salve, and Dit Da Jow II on a shoulder injury and the combo has been my salvation from discomfort and pain. This little combo has done more for my injury than all the meds and advice I've gotten from doctors, and I'm able to sleep the majority of the night which is huge. I was losing my mind from lack of sleep.
... I do believe. Soothes on the spot. And, shortly after receiving and starting to use this 1-2 times daily for various aches and pains, I started going to PT for this rotator cuff injury, and I'm feeling some real progress now. Both of these things are now part of my near daily routine.
I didn't know I needed this. It's truly magical. It's helped me with a shoulder problem and has helped me improve some other aspects of my health. Not to mention the fact that you wake up feeling rested and dream wonderfully.
I'm about to order the 4 oz version.
If I had to pick only ONE piece of materia to live with it'd be Golden Sol II, bu this is a close second. Unwinds the aches and pains, banishes tension, and speeds the healing of bruises, scrapes, and minor injuries. Also: might just be the best tattoo aftercare balm I've ever had.

This salve is a must and is in daily rotation at nights, the butter during the days. It works fast and is an all around miracle cure. It can also assist to find great medical professionals to help with whatever is needed.
Though I’ve counted on Asclepius materia for the past four or so iterations, this is my first experience with the salve. It’s a lovely texture that absorbs quickly and leaves no stickiness or greasiness. It’s quite potent, maybe even more so than the oil which was unexpected. The salve packs a powerful punch- even if that punch is wrapped in a velvet glove.
The healing salve shares similar soothing and pain-relieving effects as the Asclepius oil but is more convenient to apply, making it perfect for targeted use. Its balm-like consistency allows for easy, mess-free application while delivering the same comforting and restorative energy.
I have been a big exercise fanatic my whole life, but as I've gotten older, old injuries tend to flair up when I go too hard. This salve is amazing at not only soothing a strained muscle or inflamed tendon, but in teaching me when it's OK to step back and take a rest day so I don't hurt myself in a way that has me out of the gym for weeks (or months). I feel like I'm stronger and healthier than I've been in years, even though I am working less hard in the gym. Attunes you to your body so you can keep it going!
I love the medicinal smell of this salve. I feel like the scent alone is enough to ease my tension. I have not had the chance to use it for any significant pain (and hopefully won't) but have found it helpful for easing the ache of sore, over-used muscles. There is a slight tingle when applied that I have not noticed with other S+S salves. From the wintergreen or tea tree oil? Either way it feels delightful.
Oh how I love this salve. I can feel my entire body relax when I put this on. It has eliminated painful cramps and, for a time, soothed my incredibly whacked out digestion. Feels amazing, smells wonderful. Even just a little bit used with a self-neck rub feels 👌

I bought this for my partner because he was dealing with persistent pain, especially in the feet. That pain has since disappeared and his fitness routines, diet and overall health have transformed immensely in the most positive ways. I think the nudges from Asclepius, Pluto entering his 6th and being in a 1st house profection year was the winning combo!
i have job-related pain that i find too compounded for this salve to penetrate - maybe bc the fix is ditching the job and until then, well, better for a series about the grind or the herculean to handle it.
but for dis-ease? eclipse defense? pings about a remedy to take?

Invigorating scent, a little peppery. I like to apply this before a big day of traveling, or when waking up achy to make it through the day without excessive pain. Works wonders!
