This is the first time I have used a S+S soap and I have been very pleased with this series so far. As a general review, it is a very good quality soap. It has a very rich and earthy scent to it but not in an overpowering way. Patchouli is the dominant scent that I notice. It also lathers up pretty nicely. I have opted to cut off small, individual pieces to use rather than using the whole bar at a time. Even though I am cutting off small pieces, I have been getting 3-4 showers from each piece.
So now for the magical aspect of the soap. I was very drawn to this series because my natal Mercury is in this decan. I feel like I've had some difficulty being able to come up with an adequate description for this series. It has a Mercury feel to it but not in the typical sense. This is a very slow and methodical Mercury. It has a very grounding effect. It doesn't make me feel sleepy but it has a quality of stillness to it. Physically, this has had very little effect on me (which I don't mind) but I know the effects of this are working in the background. It's more of a mindset shifter. It's led me to examine some of my thoughts and beliefs about myself and give me a more objective viewpoint. I feel like this has been helping me clear out some things that have been holding me back from taking control of my life. I don't know how else to describe it but it makes me feel more like myself. It's definitely slow and steady but sometimes that's what you need.

Of all of the CapIII offerings, this form feel the easiest for me to "wear and go" when I have s*** to do. Most other form I've tried - including kolonia - have a bit of a sedative effect (which could just be a result of perpetual over-tiredness that the series is highlighting for me), but when I've used the Sovreign's Decree soap, I feel much more capable of staying grounded while still getting stuff done. And the smell is de-LIGHT-ful!! Very usable and would definitely recommend for getting an extra bit of groundedness in the mix before making important financial decisions or decrees
