An oil reflecting one of the underworld aspects of Golden Crowned Hekate, sepulchral mother who reigns beneath the earth.
This oil was consecrated under the auspices of Hekate Chthonia on our permanent Hekate altar.
Myrrh essential oil, resinoid, and tears (Commiphora myrrha), kua myrrh resin (Commiphora abyssinica) from Phytognosis, styrax essential oil steam-distilled from sap wood and bark tissues (Liquidamber orientalis), cypress essential oil (Cupressus sempervirens), 10-year aged Sumatran patchouli essential oil and patchouli leaves from the TAL garden, frankincense essential oil and tears (Boswellia carteri), saffron (whole stigma, Crocus sativus), galbanum essential oil (Ferula galbaniflua), opoponax resin (Commiphora guidottii), flecks of silver, single-origin olive oil, and obsidian chips.

Water of Asclepius I
Asclepius I, Sold Out, Sprays + Hydrosols, WatersAs further detailed in the series description, cypress, sage, and incense cedar were blessed using the words of Thessalos, given to him in dream by Asclepius, and harvested on the Summer Solstice in the hour of Jupiter. These, along with rose of jericho, were combined in a copper still and immersed in water freshly collected from the headwaters of the Sacramento River in Mt. Shasta. A hydrosol was produced, which was later combined with essential oils of frankincense and rosemary, carnelian, and grain alcohol during the Ras Alhague election, where the water was dedicated to Asclepius and received his blessing.
One of the beautiful qualities of this formulation is that upon vigorous shaking, it turns white — a color associated with healing and purity in many magical traditions.
Sphere + Sundry is pleased with all of the offerings we produce, but the Water of Asclepius in particular is truly something special. For a thorough application, shake well and use as a body and aura spray, making sure to focus around the head, but also applying directly to the chest, palms, and feet.

Love the way it smells. Always great quality with the BPALs. It’s been super useful for our monthly Deipnon work, she has shown up powerfully for both my partner and I. Plenty of black dog syncs to go along with it as well.
I bought this when i was first beginning to get to know Hekate and it so immediately connects her to her presence. Whenever I put it on before a consult, Hekate comes up.
As I continue to deepen my relationship to her, I look forward to have this to align with.

I love this BPAL. I usually apply it when doing my new moon ritual to Hekate and it is powerful. The scent is heady and you can feel the strength of her presence upon application, so I know Hekate loves it, too.
Somber, earthy, and powerful. The scent evokes strength. You can really FEEL her power surging from the earth in this, feel her opening the doors to the underworld, and you can tell She is there, with you and also with those whom have passed.
Compared to some other materia, Hekate Chthonia isn’t my favorite scent because it is quite strong and I tend to like my smells a little more subtle…but then again, this is Hekate we’re talking about and in my experience, there’s nothing subtle about the Queen of the Crossroads.
I use Hekate Chthonia in my ancestral work, to call upon her as psychopomp, and am deeply delighted and a little bit shocked at how effective this perfume is. Hekate makes her presence known very quickly and clearly after I apply it every time. It has increased the intensity and clarity of my ancestral connections and helped deepen my bond with this facet of Hekate considerably. Grateful to S&S and BPAL for this powerhouse of a product!
This is a powerful Hekataen masterpiece. It smells absolutely divine and when used I feel Hekate’s presence immediately! I highly recommend this to any Hekate devotee!!!
