Luna in Cancer Attuning Tincture

I have a 12th house cancer balsamic moon and this has been wonderful bringing light to this sphere of my life. As the write up describes, it can bring up difficult issues but it has also given me the support to face and work through them. The ripples have positively touched many aspects of my life.

In my opinion, this is definitely one of the more powerful/sensitising items in the series. Whereas I don't feel too energetically vulnerable from using the salve and bath salts, this one seems to have a cumulative effect on making me more sensitive. It doesn't work for me to take it internally therefore, but I think a good application would be for annointing things used in rituals.

I got the big bottle because something told me that I’ll love this materia and that turned out to be the case. LiC is so magical, mystical, healing, and warm like a mother. A drop of this tincture in water has been one of my favorite offerings to give to the spirits (and theirs too if I had to guess). It helps with meditation, sleep and healing. It did make me sad for a bit but I started taking Jupiter or Venus materia with it and it hasn’t made me sad ever since. Thank you Kaitlin!

Cancer is my 12H and it’s empty but I just knew that LiC will work for me. Sure enough, the first night after I took one drop of the tincture, I had a dream that pointed out psychic attacks against me by a family member (if you’re in the client community, then you might have seen my post about it). I’m blown away by how beautifully and protectively she came through for me upon first contact. The Energy is of an ancient mysterious but protective mother to me. It’s has inspired me to start my lunar devotion practice after all of this has unfolded.

The Luna in Cancer series continues to be my favorite Moon flavored materia - deep, moody, intense. It adds extreme multiplication factors to other materia (my favorites to pair with are Asclepius, Cloud Kingdom, and Exalted Venus).

I have partaken of this tincture internally at my own risk. As a natal cancer moon LiC series has been a balm to my troubled heart who has always had issues with my psychical mother. This tincture is also delicious, not at all what I was expecting. But be warned, follow Kaitlin’s warnings - this is super powerful moon magic.

A drop each of this tincture and the Fomalhaut tincture is perfect for ritual attunement - brings me back into my body, to be fully present for whoever I’m approaching. Or taken alone with other materia I’m wearing to help amplify their effects.

My first time engaging with this tincture brought a really profound, almost psychedelic experience of coming back into my body. Using LiC as a Lunar deficient person is like getting colored-in after being just outlined for my entire life. Like I was just see-through this whole time, and now I’m actually *real*.
This is also an amazing tool for anyone trying to get better at ritual or any kind of spiritual practice. It helps with having more gravitas when communicating with spirits and being more present in ritual.

I have a high tolerance for this series in general, but I find the tincture to be a lighter form that would be great for folks who are interested in this series but think that the more potent forms might be a little too much for them. The body butter (my fave form from this series) gives me powerful warm fuzzy feelings and a sense of get-out-of-buzzy-headspace embodiment, whereas I've found the tincture to be more supportive of my divination practice, meditation, and intuition, and with increasing my general sense of familiarity with and comfort in the lunar space.
