I used this as both a tea to relax and an incense as an offering. I wasn't a big fan of teas, but I figured Venus materia would be the perfect time to give them a go. Better than I thought! A complex flavour but in my steeps was quite muted. I added some milk and honey to round it out. Gentle relaxation. Also made a wonderful smelling incense. Don’t you just love steep+smokes?

This is my favorite steep and smoke out of the ones I’ve tried. I especially love that the herbal matter isn’t bulky which makes for very smooth smoke. Lavender is already a favorite flavor of mine so of course it’s wonderful as a tea as well.
Don’t sleep on the steep and smokes! The effects are a lot longer lasting than you would expect and make a great alternative to tinctures if you want to consume your materia.

Like all the S&Smokes this is incredibly versatile. Like the reviewer below, I use this materia in so many ways. Love love love the energy of EVII so much.

I love the versatility of steep & smokes: Steep for tea. Steep for floor washes. Steep for baths. Smoking. Adding to spell candles. I've even started grinding them down to make my own powders! Then I sprinkles those and use them just like I would with the ready-made powders. Truly one of the most versatile offerings in S&S. EVII calms me TF down and also makes me want to give all of my loved ones another hug and tell them how much they mean to me.

I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewer that said this s&s is perfect for self-care. It took ages for me to be able to use Venus materia without unearthing enormous amounts of rage, even this series, which reflects my natal Venus. But since I've been working on those issues, I find that using the Exalted Venus II s&s is very calming. It's excellent at alleviating really bad days, especially if you need to sleep and anxiety isn't letting you. So if you're looking to induce a sense of peace in yourself, this s&s is perfect.

This tea blend îs perfect for moments when a little self-care is in order. As the tea steeped, the aroma became even more enchanting. The first sip was truly magical. The soothing linden flower and lavender notes gently enveloped my taste buds while the passionflower and damiana provided a refreshing, elevated finish. Tasted it on someone Virgo heavy with a great satisfaction on their behalf.

As Kaitlin says, the onset of this series is a bit more subtle than some of the others but it's still effective. A cup of this steep & smoke gently unwinds me. It's not an immediate and pronounced effect like Venus' Aerial Delights, which I find fairly strong actually, and not necessarily what I want after a long day. This is just gentle and restful and lovely. A reminder that, actually, you can enjoy things, and you can put down that burden you're carrying on your shoulders for a while.

Honestly slept on the steep and smokes for too long! This is so calming and delicious. I also love the tincture. Paired with the salve I am instantly soothed and it’s exactly what I need after a long day.

This is my first Steep + Smoke experience, and I am a convert. I even bought a cute pink joint roller & pink rolling papers to use exclusively with it! First and foremost, smoking this chills me out. It CHILLS me OUT. And without tiring me out! That alone is reason enough to sing its praises.

It tastes delicious, almost mentholated but without any harsh edges (must be the peppermint). There’s also a tart-berry flavor that comes and goes — I like to chase it as it’s so mysterious. It takes a few minutes to set in, but the effect is a flowing, seeping bubbly relaxation. It kind of blooms through the mind and body and the comedown is easy & gentle.

I smoke this ceremonially and also socially. It’s absolutely *incredible* as a tool to access that elusive “second wind” during social situations. I like to share with my friends, and the vibe is always *chef’s kiss*

It really just helps you chill out and focus on enjoying something but perhaps aren’t in the right frame of mind. Yesterday was my Venus return, and I took some with me on a long walk through the forest in all its early autumnal glory. Normally I face some resistance towards things I know will make me happy (my Venus is in Virgo, after all) but a little of this beforehand and I went much more willingly towards my magical experience.

(I will say I had a very strange massage later that evening that was borderline “is this a happy endings parlor?” before I put the kibosh on it and I was like, Venus you minx, so yeah it does also draw attention lol)

I’m a huge fan of the Venus’ Aerial Delight series, and I do notice some differences between it and Exalted Venus II. EVII is just more chill and bloomy for lack of a better term — a warmth and ease blooms inside your chest. It’s sweeter. Due to that anxiety-easing effect, it makes me feel more social than VAD even though I would argue that VAD is inherently more social (and amorous).

So yeah, I definitely recommend trying it out! I love reaching for something this magical in moments that don’t need to be like, serious-magical. And not for nothing, it’s definitely cheaper than weed and doesn’t make you tired lol.
