Sphere + Sundry’s classic Asclepius incense formula, ritually created on an election featuring the Moon conjunct the Divine Physician’s patron star, Ras Alhague, in trinal application to the exalted Aries Sun conjunct the IC of the chart.
Home-grown white sage native to Southern Oregon and incense cedar, each harvested in the day and hour of Sol following a recitation of The Harvesting Prayer of Thessalos as the Sun exalted in Aries, Rose of Jericho, and frankincense resin.
Available in two formulas — an incense powder which can be made into a mound or sigil on a fireproof surface and lit directly, or a loose blend, which must be burned on charcoal.
Clears away negative energies and helps facilitate transformation. Smoke bathe the full body, especially before bed, or suffumigate rooms and objects in need or purification or designed to heal and banish. Burn in offering to Asclepius and smoke photos or icons of those in need to healing before or during prayer. Use to disperse the Dead and other spirits, establishing a purged, pro-(living)-human slate following ancestral rites, necromantic operations, or in the case of unwelcome veil thinning.

I use this incense to cleanse my home and it creates such a mystical, temple like, clear feeling. It is without a doubt my favorite incense. All Asclepius materia is such a staple.
I love the way this incense smells and how beautifully it cleanses and clears the room when burned. I love using it for ritual cleansing and as the finishing touch when I've done my mundane cleaning, too. It's like a breath of fresh air.
Since using this series I have had seriously out of the blue motivation to take care of myself. Work out, go to yoga, eat well, etc. I’m also recovering very quickly from a bad kitchen burn. Given the timing, I attribute these things to Asclepius. It’s like a fog lifting.
This series is especially important to me. I think I have used the most of it out of all the series. It is excellent for clearing a space and helping to heal the body and mind. I always get amazing sleep when I use it before bed.
I bought this for my partner to have in the house during their recovery of surgery. I think this is a great all purpose cleansing incense and Asclepius is an amazing spirit to work with. You can't go wrong here
I'm still struggling with my burn technique for loose incense, but this is clarifying and soothing, if strongly herbal. Easily stretched into sachet powder with addition of arrowroot or cornstarch. I don't think you can go wrong working with Asclepius, as we and our world are so deeply in need of healing. Halfway through my bulk pot already.
I love this series, and especially the powder for transmuting the energy of any ritual objects that you might encounter. Great for composting/disintegrating that without further reverb. Phew, massive gratitude for the work of the starry healers.
I can't imagine my life without this materia. I have the water and the incense and it is my absolute favourite. I used it to consecrate 4 necklaces that I created on a very auspicious Ras Alhague election and I just love love the effects. Both the water and incense relieve pain instantly, they clear the spaces, aura and mind, they promote freshness and a feeling of divine energy flowing into the body and soul and mind and all! Will be buying more soon! I already used 3 bottles of Asclepius water and one small incense bottle.
I was staying in a place that didn't have the best vibes - I burned some of this incense as a way to clean the space and I could FEEL the negative spirits *running* away.
This is becoming one of my ride or die offerings. I use this in floor washes, spiritual baths, burn as incense to cleanse spaces, use it to make homemade oils and tinctures…. the list goes on. The bulk pots are usually too much powder for me but this is definitely an exception.

as someone who used to sleep on Asclepius, I completely get the hype now. simple, yet effective cleansing that works anytime any place. I’ll be making sure to keep this on me.
This incense has been invaluable in supporting my family’s overall health (burned daily when COVID numbers are spiking) and for me when using it during my energetic cleansing baths. The good doctor truly supports removing the “ick” in a healing gentle way.
I used some Hermanubis materia for the first time on Halloween night, trying to learn more about the spirits that I was told inhabit my home. I performed a ritual in the room where my grandmother used to reside, and some peculiar stuff happened. The bed creaked as if someone had sat on the mattress when I asked to know who these spirits were, and creaked again as if someone had risen from the bed when I closed the ritual and asked Hermanubis to deliver any lingering spirits to wherever they would be best served. I felt a bit spooked afterward, and the room felt uncomfortable.
So I burned this incense for the first time, and felt the heaviness immediately lift. The room actually felt even better than it did before I started the ritual (that room always felt weird before), and I felt much more comfortable. I’ve actually spent a lot of time in there since, instead of avoiding it like I used to. I’m so glad I bought this with the Hermanubis materia!
I used the incense yesterday, Wednesday, during a full moon to thank Asclepius, and help clear away negative energy. So far, I’ve only used 1-2 S&S incenses, and I find that I like to add them to a burning candle, because a little goes a long way. It smells sagey and clean, and definitely great for purification.
Sometimes all I need to feel better and brighter is to inhale this incense.
As part of a community healing ritual, Asc III has been integral to shifting stuck and tricky physical and mental situations for people I care about, and for that I’m so grateful.
This is also my go to for New Moon clearings and resetting. Such refreshment and renewal! Thank goodness it’s an evergreen series so I won’t have to do without it.
I love this incense so very much — it’s absolutely perfect for use in smoke bathing, dispelling unwanted/unwelcome/expired energy from a space, and even lightens the mind & heart of unnecessary cares & obstructive thoughts (highly relevant to 2020’s ongoing…. 2020-ness). Extremely grateful to have this in my toolkit.
