Salve of Exalted Venus II
Organic ingredients, fumigated and combined during the Exalted Venus II election: jojoba oil, lavender flowers, blue lotus, valerian root, ashwagandha, fenugreek, chamomile, marjoram, meadowsweet, spearmint, yarrow, passionflower, lemon balm, red clover blossom, purple jade, and pink amethyst.
Strained following many months of incubation, combined with organic beeswax and essential oils of lavender, frankincense, and tonka bean.
Apply to the bottoms of the feet and any areas holding tension, such as the shoulders, neck, low back and over the lower abdomen. Rubbing or massaging for a minute or more helps the active ingredients better penetrate the skin barrier, resulting in deeper relaxation. Applying to multiple areas and increasing the coverage increases the potency of its influence.
Fantastic after getting off work (or before work if you work in a socially demanding or tipped field!), before socializing, or just wanting to enjoy oneself and unwind.

After applying this salve, I always feel more positive and relaxed. I like to apply it to the soles of my feet before bed, and it helps me rest well.
A lovely sweet lavender smell, not too herbal. It feels a softer than some other salves and lends itself well to liberal application, which is perfect for the relaxing, away with worries vibes this brings. A balm for neuroticism.
Neurotic and restless no more. Relaxes the body and the mind. Suddenly the world looks sweet and life is beautiful and simple.
I really love this salve -- I tend to be a salve kinda human and of course, I find refuge in this Venusian offering. Exalted Venus is sensuous, drops you into presence and helps expand the mind + heart to orient together into a deeper sense of pleasure.
wish I got the bigger size so maybe I will! love this scent and rubbing into my shoulders and low back. very 'come as you are' - I like applying Friday after a shower and find myself reaching for it when I'm feeling a bit burnt out and need some TLC
I bought the big salve for myself as a splurge because I am totally hooked on EVII water, and given the somatic nature of my response to it, I thought having the salve to rub into my skin would be a delicious luxury. I have not been disappointed. I love the scent profile of this whole series, and the salve is both deeply relaxing but also gives me a bit of a tingle - sensual and subtly erotic. It just makes me want to relax and feel soft things against my skin. I use it to unwind after work, and I especially love it at bedtime paired with Luna materia (both LiC and EL).
I love applying this to the soles of my feet, and to my partner's feet. The scent reminds me of sweetgrass and is gentle, light and delicious.
This whole series is perfection for me. It smells lovely and feels like the perfect compliment to so many other series. I saw that Saturn in Aquarius, a series I’ve been using a lot, pairs well with Venus materia, so I’ve begun using them together whenever possible. Doing the difficult work of building habits and structure into one’s life is not always a fun time, but breaking out the Exalted Venus salve genuinely feels like a reminder that life is not just hard work and then we die. Love and happiness is a necessity. <3
Seconding what a previous reviewer mentioned: this series LOVES to be shared, and I love sharing it!! My favorite place to apply it is the lower back, belly and hips. Shoulders are great too for releasing worry. I find that I become more aware of my own natural beauty when wearing this salve, and it’s easier for me to just…let things be. Great medicine for chronic overthinking and worrying.
I have used this both before sleeping and before going out and its effect is beautiful either way: soothing and pleasant. For some reason, I don't entirely love the scent of this salve, even though it has clear, delicate notes of lavender (which I really like). But I wear it despite that, it's just too lovely in its magic not to 🙂

I’ve been rubbing this into my sore, tired feet after work. I’m melting. I feel so relaxed, and my heart feels softer. It takes me out of the stress of the day and transports me into a space where I can relax and feel good.
On my second use of Exalted Venus, with Venus having just entered Libra, I had the deepest and most intense epic dream which ended with a very deep healing resolution with someone. Couldn't recommend it enough!
I was hesitant to engage with this salve because my relationship with Pisces energy is *weird* in that dreamy, untethered way (which my own fixed-heavy energy finds exhausting.) But I’m glad I did. I already find lavender a very soothing scent, so it immediately calms me on that front alone. But a more subtle, sensory relaxation unfolds within the minutes and hours after application. When I use it at bed time, I tend to have those sleeps where I wake up in the exact position I fell asleep in - no waking or tossing and turning. I’ve also found it excellent for creating a more sensuous mood and tuned-in experience with my partner. So very Venusian and most definitely exalted!
Originally I didn't use this often, but as I've become familiar with this series I've grown more comfortable and drawn to what this is showing me about myself. The salve has been *very* helpful for sleeping recently. Assists in turning off the part of my mind that is always on, helps to tune out and be ok with doing so. For me, this series is still about self worth and it does feel like I am incorporating it into myself as I use the different items from the series. Smells like lavender and something else, but doesn't trigger anything undesirable with being prone to headaches.
This salve feels sooo sensuous. I feel incredibly relaxed whenever I apply, and cocooned in comfy Venusian energy.
Great for relaxing and unwinding before going to bed.... no matter what you plan to do there. This is so sweet and cute and just snuggly when used solo, and great for the kind of dreamless sleep that makes you wake up refreshed. Applied before more romantic encounters, it is mind-blowing. The oceanic, overwhelming (in the best way) quality of Venus in her Exalted sign really show off during any kind of shared physical pleasure. Like MDMA without the come down or artificial emotions.
why? I dont know I think something about having to rub it into my skin and be in my body in that moment? also it holds the charge for a sustained period even if not as loudly & strongly as the oil or Kolonia which can be preferable in some situations. already gearing up to need another one.
Pisces is the sign of my 7th house, and whenever I use this salve, I am an open intimate book, sharing my feelings with my loved ones. I definitely enter a flow-state with this one. It helps me relax, and if I use enough, it'll help put me to sleep. It also has the effect of making me fall even more in love with my own body whenever I use it. But to be fair, this was a specific intention that I set when I decided to buy it, so I directed the affect that I wanted from this salve, and it delivers every time. I also rub this on my pelvic area during menstruation and periods of discomfort and it works like a charm 🙂
I came to my friend bruised & traumatized after a recent encounter with the police at a peaceful protest where they were very violent with us, throwing us on the ground, dragging us by our arms & legs, stepping on us. I had hit my head & landed weird a few times & been dragged by my arm & my arm, shoulder, neck, and back were hurting really badly, as was my hope for humanity. my friend rubbed this on my chest as well as some of the new asclepius body butter & it really brought me back into my body, made my pain subside, and healed my heart enough to keep working for justice I will be buying this asap
This salve is reliable sleep aid for me. The unwinding happens instantly but also without much strong shift in energy, quiet seamless - right after applying you just start drifting and releasing tension.
This salve is so nice for relieving the kind of pain that comes from tension. My tight shoulders and neck love it. The relief comes with a beautiful “there, there” feeling and the lavender scent of this series is gorgeous.
I've been pleasantly surprised by this salve. I apply it to the small of my back and other areas with different EV materia and it seems to support having a more agreeable time with whatever I set out to do. It's especially helpful before intimate conversations and social outings where thoughtful or intimate conversations might occur.
A gentle, beautiful heart opening salve that feels more supportive of the self than engaged with the outer world. Softens edges. It seems like a great way to temper the influence of more active or challenging materia.
I tend to use salves most often, especially on my neck+shoulders and my feet. This salve is such a reassurance to me in times of crisis (which have been many lately). I am in one of these situations now. This morning I reached for this salve instead of Cloud King and even just the scent took the edge off a bit. About an hour after smoothing some salve on my neck and feet, I am starting to feel more...centered. My Mars and Venus are both in Virgo so Lavender is a HUGE love and helper/healer in my life, and I shouldn't be surprised I reached for this. Love love love. I think this is also helping with the current Libra Full Moon, which has not been a comfortable time for me.
This salve is absolutely delicious especially after a long stressful work day or for a day off at home resting. I used this salve more around my menstrual cycle and it eases my symptoms—at least I’m in a nicer space when I engage with this stuff. Even better if you can use it with a partner and cuddle up. This is def one of the many S+S creations I’ll repurchase when I run out.
On its own, this is quite relaxing. I find the day after using Exalted Venus II materia, I feel more at ease in myself, no matter what form I use. The *feeling* part is prominent. To amp it up, I apply the salve to my feet or lower back before getting into the bath. Significantly more relaxing, but still functional. This should last me quite a while, a little goes a long way.
A favorite I keep by my bedside to reach for before sleep or in any moments that calls for peace and relaxation. Soothing, sweet, lovely, and softly blissful.
I missed out on the salve from the first ViP series and so pleased to be able to try it this time around. It smells divine and immediately leads to release of tension through the body and energy body alike. I like to rub it on my wrist/pulse points before bed and have had some beautiful dreams. Highly recommend!
