Incense of Exalted Venus II
Organic and wildcrafted herbs of a Venusian purview, including lavender, damiana, red clover, spearmint, and sundry others, fumigated during Sphere + Sundry’s Exalted Venus II election following prayers and offerings to the Fairer Benefic.
Ground in the day and hour of Venus following months of quiet incubation, with the addition of sandalwood, benzoin, frankincense, genuine copper leaf, vanilla bean, purple jade, and pink amethyst.
Ingredient ratios are adjusted to account for scent when burning, and makko powder added to perpetuate it.
Create a small, peaked mound or draw lines over ash or sand. Light one end or the top until it catches, and enjoy.
Burn as an offering; smoke bathe the body, or use as a fumigant for space clearing, inviting connection, comfort, and all manner of love.

Note that Sphere + Sundry’s Incense Powders are designed to be burned *without* charcoal, on beds of premium ash in a firesafe dish or plate. Pour ash, then pat or use a tool to create a relatively smooth surface. Pour the desired amount of Incense Powder into the palm of your non-dominant hand, and use the other to assemble a thin peaked mound, line, or sigil, pinch by pinch. These can be quite thin if desired. The neater and more ridged your shape is, the better it will burn! Light the top of the ridge to ignite.
Taking time to prepare Incense in this way can be a meditative and centering experience, and allows the practitioner to create custom burn times with zero waste. If your line ends up too long, simply use a knife to ‘cut’ the fresh powder away from the ignited portion to use later.

It is so easy to control how much you use; a hack I recently found that I’ve become really into is to use one of those very small spoons that you can use with bulk spices. The smell is totally divine! I highly recommend this product, you will not be disappointed!

I recently adopted a very young female ferret in hopes she’d be a companion for my older male ferret, but I was concerned at first because they really weren’t getting along. (For the record, I don’t use scents around my pets, and I keep the door shut to the room where they live whenever I burn incense, candles, plant matter, etc.) Anyway, one afternoon I burned some of this incense in my bedroom, and as the last tiny glowing ember went from orange to ash, the thought crossed my mind that perhaps the ferrets would be affected by the materia. I left my room, crossed the apartment, and opened the door to see the two of them snuggled up together in a little pile of blankets, the little one lovingly grooming and licking the older one’s ears, as he blissfully rested with his eyes closed. I was barely able to catch the slightest hint of scent from the incense, but I really had to sniff around for it, otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed it. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see such a drastic turnaround, and they’ve been the best of friends since then.
