This write-up is a marathon, not a sprint! It will likely take an hour+ to read in one sitting. Grab a beverage and settle in when you’ll have the capacity, or skim what interests you!
It has basically three sections: how we got here, diary of the process, and takeaways with input from our beta testers.

Beeswax candles poured over consecrated powdered Magnum Mundi herbal mix sprinkled into the fumigated jars and molds during the final Luminary integration, once the energy of the final working had been called to attention post-conjuration.
Pillars are covered in 360° sheets of white gold blended from 24k gold and fine silver. Note that the sheets are delicate, were hand assembled by the Mage herself, and may experience ruffling and damage during shipping and unwrapping. They will not be “perfect”. The point is the material, not the aesthetic. These can be carved into and further dressed for truly epic works of candle magic.
Slim vigils are crowned with the same white gold.
Both candles have been Anointed with Oil from the original Thema Mundi Mother Globe, which holds remedial-grade pearl, ruby, emerald, diamond, red coral, yellow sapphire, and blue sapphire, alongside 24k gold and fine silver.
About half of the candles poured will be available at launch; the rest will be reloaded when the Mage has time to prep them.

On May 23rd 2023, the Thema Mundi operation was first unveiled to the public.
Just over three years later on June 16th 2026, this series — Magnum Mundi, debuts.
Its construction began in the autumn of 2025, upon Thema Mundi’s very literal foundation. The placements of Cancer in the 1st through Capricorn in the 7th laying the groundwork and supplying the horizon over which the signs above would soon occupy. Extending Thema Mundi’s natural arc, literally and so to speak, forming the Zodiac entire.
The story of how the signs above received their Rulerships arrived to me in the form of ambient lore, though I had no idea where from historically. Upon initiating the write-up I contacted Chris Brennan to see if he knew, having such deep roots in the classical tradition. He shared it came from an unpublished translation of a manuscript by Demetra George. Following up with her directly, the title was revealed (“The Foundation of the Astrological Art: The Opinion according to the Chaldeans”) and she offered this background:
The text I translated was in Byzantine Greek, edited from a manuscript written around the 10th century CE, most likely in Constantinople. That was translated from an Arabic text which itself was translated from a Persian text written sometime between 300-600 CE. The Persians had a translation center where they translated Greek and Syriac texts on astrology, philosophy, and medicine (which I’ll talk about at NORWAC 2026) from which they probably had access to the notion of the Thema Mundi. The Persians probably also had in their collective memory the story of the Babylonian goddess Tiamat, the serpent/dragon which was cut in two by Marduk, and the two halves formed the upper and lower hemispheres (looking like the Nodes).
By that time, I think Chaldean had become a general word for ‘astrologer,’ as well as referring to the Persian origins of the text.
That material is not available to the public yet (though Demetra’s lecture on the Thema Mundi is, along with the NORWAC presentation referenced), but the story it presents (which follows; with a dash of narrative flourish…) created the structure upon which I based the Magnum Mundi procedure:
After the Earth’s creation, space-time as we know carried on, and the Sun in mid-Leo began moving forward — day by day, degree by degree — until the warmth of its rays could be felt by Mercury in Virgo.
This triggered Mercury to flee… far and fast as they were possibly able… landing in the 12th unoccupied place of Gemini.
The Sun continued its ambulations, which began heating Libra, triggering Venus to similarly depart — perhaps on the back of a friendly white dove — taking root in the temperate pastures of lush Taurus in the 11th.
Sol kept on, triggering Mars to march toward Ariesin the 10th; promising to make his celestial father proud, raising a flag of Exaltation in his honor.
Next was Jupiter, who — spurred by the heat to roam free — galloped all the way to the ocean, which he entered, becoming one with the cooling, all-encompassing 9th of Pisces.
And finally Saturn, who in all characteristic obstinance refused to move, resulting in death by heatstroke.
He laid there on the mountaintop as snow began falling, the Northern Hemisphere’s winter deepening. The Sun’s strength approaching maximum decline. Saturn growing wiser with each passing day, consciousness filled with… sifting through… dreams of deathly gnosis.
A month after Saturn had passed, Sol ventured beyond the threshold of the known kingdom, entering the foreign landofAquarius. Saturn’s ice-blue eyes snapped open as witness.
“You again.” Saturn said.
“I thought you were dead!” the Sun exclaimed, practically shivering.
“I was…” Saturn replied.
“And I am.”
Which is how I like to imagine the 8th place became associated with death and dying.
Now the original manuscript (Chris sent the unpublished rough draft) doesn’t have the extraneous narrative flourish, but it does basically indicate that the Planets fled sign by sign as the Sun approached in reaction to the intense heat, and that Saturn became “blackened” from not being able to escape the Sun’s rays, having only its own neighboring sign to occupy. No doubt an aspect of why Saturn is so grumpy!
Equipped with the idea that the Sun’s basic ingress into Virgo and subsequent signs triggered each Planet’s relocation (each about a month apart), and knowing Magnum Mundi’s ultimate purpose was to establish Divine Union between all opposing forces (yin with yang; and soldering the literal oppositions contained by all 12 signs), I chose New Moons as the points of physical integration.
That being the monthly moment congressive union is held between our two Luminaries (when the Sun’s bodily seed is planted invisibly in the Moon’s fertile soil), and when the Parts of both Fortune and Spirit conjoin upon the Rising simultaneously, aligning willful action with fateful purpose. And when ambient astrological output is at its absolute lowest; since we were nottrying to collect or call in any new astral energies; merely mix what was pre-existing.
The exception to this rule being Eclipses of course, which destabilize and interfere with orderly, uninterrupted cycles of manifestation.
So those were skipped. And a somewhat disturbing (at the time) sync / omen reinforcing that idea did present itself next I bottled Thema Mundi after initiating the Magnum Mundi sequence; when this songdetailing Eclipse devastation began playing at a key moment (The Mocking Stars title track by Lausse the Cat – lyrics).
I reported that in the Client Community at the time, unbeknownst to anyone this process was underway.
Interestingly, Lausse’s premier EP debuted in 2018 (the year Sphere + Sundry began; the year Sphere broke ground in Vegas), and The Mocking Stars would be their second major release after a 7-year hiatus (— the same amount of time Magnum Mundi has taken to come to fruition). Timeline echoes, reality ripples…
It felt important to bring Luminescence and balance to finish the work, instead of ending on a doubly-dour Saturnian note. Nothing ever truly ends; the wheel simply turns. After darkness comes the dawn (— even in passing, as Near Death Experience survivors routinely report blinding light beckoning them to the next phase), and by Saturn — if that were to have been the final incorporation — there would’ve been much more Planetary materia than Soli-Lunar in the mix. Thus, a final ritual would add fresh Moon in Cancer and Sun in Leo energies as a radiant crown, or shimmering capstone.
That rendered six integrations total, which would take a combined 8-months to complete (since two New Moons would be Eclipses). The date finally established for kick off —after 7 years of anticipation — would become the New Moon in Virgo on August 23rd 2025.
Note that a week before (on August 15th), Jupiter’s Degree of Exaltationseries (pictured above; unreleased) had been created, which just so happens to be in the 15th degree of Cancer — the location of the night sky’s brightest star, yes, but more importantly for our purposes — Thema Mundi’s Ascendant. And also the first Jupiter in Cancer working we’ve done since creating DOE rings for personal use in 2014, in a pre-Sphere + Sundry world.
That was not actuallywhy Magnum Mundi began in 2025, however.
The determining factor there was our steadfast commitment to remedial-grade elections, which took Venus in Taurus off the schedule three years in a row. Which in all our preoccupations with obtaining the harder to lock-down Outers, hadn’t been anticipated.
Magnum Mundi couldn’t actuallybeginuntilVenus in Taurus III was harvested (since none had been saved from the initial series in 2019, or Empress in 2020 after that). Thus, Venus’ Earthly Delights needed to be secured before Thema Mundi’s expansion could proceed.
Looking back, Magnum Mundi was obviously supposed to occur under the auspices of Jupiter in Cancer “unlocking” and blessing the operation, further confirmed by Jupiter revisiting15 Cancer by the time of the final working, on the Jupiter-ruled New Moon in Pisces 2026.
On the night of Gemini’s initial installation (remember the Sun moving into Virgo for the first time and Mercury fleeing is what initiates the process!), I posted a sequence of photos to Instagram saying “For later” with easter ~eggs~ of the work to come. The Thema Mundi house in isolation and from the front as its subject. The bar globe inside the window being the set and setting of Thema Mundi’s finished photography.
The ground floor staircase is visible behind that globe, mirroring the stairs leading into the attic posted just before the announcement of the Thema Mundi series. They gesture toward the second story of the chart, but playing off the phrase “as above, so below”, being that the attic — where the operation took place — is physically above (the second floor) but metaphorically beneath the work yet to come (as Thema Mundi forms the foundation of the chart).
The full quote from The Emerald Tablet reads: “That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracle of the One Thing.”
Lastly, as the photos pan upward, the final image showcases the big attic windows poster boarded from within, just as they were throughout the Thema Mundi working. The same galaxy-print papers had been put up earlier the same day, and stayed in place for 8-months until the project was formally announced on April 22nd 2026, before being taken down for likely the last time.
At 12:30 AM on that fateful Virgo New Moon — at long last — the buildout began.
Each operation introduced the newly installed sign combined with a smaller portion of materia from the Planet’s existing sign (which hosted the New Moon), which was then added to a portion of Thema Mundi’s core. So 60% Gemini materia and 40% Virgo materia were co-mingled and compounded within Thema Mundi’s consecrated herbal base, allowing for roughly equal portions of each sign in the final mix. On the Libra New Moon, 60% Taurus to 40% Libra — added to the ever-waxing Magnum Mundi materia, which by then would include Gemini — and so on.
These were all incorporated with a special structure and long-form prayer authored by the Mage truly, tailored to each integration which took from 1 to 2.5 hours to perform.
The timeline is as follows:
You can see that the general goings on of our sphere (+ sundry!) reflected and bridged all of the Magnum Mundi milestones, even as all creations and launches were predetermined in advance on electional merit in isolation, not their relationship to the underlying process. Most of these syncs weren’t even fully realized until the process was well underway, or discovered compiling the write-up.
Ready to get tired just reading it? ‘Twas quite the magical rollercoaster!

Now let’s talk for a minute about these peafowl eggs.
The peacocks coming to live with us were a Thema Mundi manifestation — not planned, but one that presented itself, becoming emoji shorthand for the series. Their connections were introduced and spoken about in the first pre-order opening entry, pitching the idea that the taxidermied peacock in the house throughout the operation perhaps functioned as a seed which came to real-life fruition. Regardless (though on top of that), peacocks haverich magical and alchemical correspondences (and their feathers make lasers!), rendering them kindred and organic allies.
Three peacocks had been gifted to us on June 23rd 2023; a young male and female pair, and one older male 3rd wheel who had presumably been drawn to the female (who caused all the trouble by incessantly donking the windows). In the spring of 2025, we noticed for the first time “canoodling” between the two young ones, which made us think they had reached sexual maturity. Shortly thereafter, the older male disappeared, never to be seen again. We joke he ran off with a turkey!
Anyway, the first eggs were discovered between Venus in Taurus III being harvested and the first Magnum Mundi working, and a photo of them was featured as the only content of Thema Mundi Round V’s opening entry. The egg (and egg cracking open) became shorthand for this series.
Knowing Magnum Mundi was about to begin, this felt like an incredible synchronicity! Mercury being the first-born Planetary child of the Sun and Moon; freshly laid eggs — for the first time! — representing the next generation of the working.
Except for not a single one hatched.
Which was disappointing at first, and then made complete sense in terms of — this working was ongoing. It had just begun. The Magnum Mundi itself was not yet ready to hatch. It had just reached the point where its next iteration was possible.
Which made me wonder if the next year (this year now), after the working had concluded, peachicks would come to living, breathing manifestation — which time will tell!
But it was a great omen to discover the first peafowl egg of the 2026 season show up in isolation on my kitchen counter the DAY I began working on the Magnum Mundi write-up (since Lucian’s caretaker had found it on the porch stairs!). And the shell had been cracked — probably from dropping on the step —, but its thickinterior membrane was still intact; not unlike Magnum Mundi itself, which had been announced to the public (laid and revealed), but not yet fully open for bottling and whatnot.
Note that there was not enough materia in all cases to pull from a single series, so some Spheres have more than one election supplying them, including Jupiter in Pisces and both Luminaries.
Curiously, Magnum Mundi features every Sun in Leo AND Luna in Cancer election S+ has ever done, AND, the Luna in Cancer series which was added last features the Moon IN the 15th degree of Cancer ON Thema Mundi’s exact rising degree conjunct Exalted Jupiter. It was also the only series added to Magnum Mundi created WHILE it was in process — consecrated after Saturn’s dual incorporation, but before the Luminary’s landing.
Note that this creation happened in the same room where Saturn in Capricorn’s final photos were taken. Saturn in Capricorn was the series which ushered in theacquisitionof the Thema Mundi house (it was created at our home on the hill; it’s launch was moved up so we could close on the new S+HQ), and Saturn in Capricorn was the first S+ series to have any visual association with the space. This Luna in Cancer (+ Jupiter) working happening in the same setting and capstoning Magnum Mundi was unintentional, but registers as very “full circle” from the editing booth!
Ten additional series = ten rituals, which were then integrated in a sequence of 6 operations.
Which brings us to:
7 original series
+ 7 Thema Mundi rituals
+ 10 additional series
+ 6 Magnum Mundi operations
= 30 rituals spanning almost 7-years.
(Only 27 rituals were reported in the big reveal, but I miscalculated!)
If we were to require another astrological magician to personally consecrate materia from all 12 Rulershipsand follow similar ritual compounding procedures, this process is impossible to even roughly replicate until the year 2050 at earliest; or far, far later if we were to mirror Jupiter being in the exact degree of Thema Mundi’s risingat 15° Cancer on a New Moon in Pisces for the concluding ritual.
That condition simply does not repeat for hundreds or thousands of years. Or much longer.
Other oddities include my own synastry with this work, and the individual elections comprising it.
Your Mage’s birthday is on October 21st, placing the Sun at 28° Libra (Tropically).
IN Spica’s Nakshatra of Chitra, which has to do with the creation of all beautiful, effective, and wondrousfinished things, the Universe, and the Zodiac specifically (which Magnum Mundi essentially is).
The Venus that went into Thema Mundi’s core is also located at exactly 28° Libra (original working title: Venus-Spica), which falls in the 4th house of the Thema Mundi chart. The house which signifies the mother and the foundation of a nativity. Its roots, its genesis, and its birthplace. Connecting those significations with the degree of the Divine Artist’s sect light.
Venus’ incorporation — the Libra New Moon in 2025 — fell on October 21st, the day of my Solar return, further reifying the connection.
Additionally, all of the New Moons in the Magnum Mundi sequence aside from the first operation (conjunct Regulus, which happens to be the operator’s Midheaven) also took place at an unusually static 28°, which aspects the Galactic Center currently located at 27 degrees of Sagittarius (— in the 28th degree) precisely conjunct the Mage’s Saturn-Uranus conjunction bridging 27 and 28 degrees.
Note that this working sequence was made possible because 2025 featured a rare astrological “Blue Moon” in Virgo, or stated plainly, two New Moons in the same sign in a row — the second of which being the skipped Eclipse. If it had been a typical year where the one andonly New Moon in Virgo had been Eclipsed, this series of events would not have been possible. And by the time the next Eclipse interrupted the sequence in February, we had moved beyond the confines of Thema Mundi’s core signs with no need to root any work in Aquarius.
This is another limiting factor in another’s ability to reproduce the Magnum Mundi. You would need access to non-Eclipsed sequential New Moons in Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Pisces in order to compound the varying elements in order, which — barring year+ gaps — virtually never happens.
You see how a perfect storm of myriad factors aligned to make the embodiment of this magical mission possible, and the incorporation charts are interesting studies as well, especially in regards to the Sabian Symbols of each New Moon and outer planet shifts which define decade+ cultural currents and generational qualities.
Insofar as Thema Mundi is firmly rooted in the Neptune in PiscesandUranus in Taurusera, while Magnum Mundi kicked off with Uranus at 1 degree Gemini (with the sign of Gemini!) and Neptune at 1 degree Aries during their very first toe-dips in. Both outers would retrograde back into their former signs throughout the sequence, co-mingling (stapling…) future with past, and past with future.
In terms of exact timing, it was chosen by the Moon being just pastthe Sun — so ever-so slightly waxing — but within one degree, presenting a very narrow window which virtually determined itself.
The charts for each incorporation are in a gallery below.
These are different from those of usual series, since they are NOT for Talismanic “Elections” (and thus, do not need to obey the usual “rules”). They are Theurgic moments of incorporation for pre-enchanted Materia, which are what carries the energies of the Planets in Signs to the Work. Still though, some of them happened to include interesting features!
What follows is a walkthrough of each integration; the events and themes it personally activated, beginning with the Sabian Symbol for each New Moon. Note that these Sabians were looked up after the fact (while composing the write-up) and had nothing to do with choosing the working degree; they are only shared because they happen hold deep resonance with the operations.
Technical note that when a degree reads on a chart as “28°[XX’]” it is considered “in the 29th degree”, which begins at 28°00’ and ends when the next full degree begins. Akin to how you turn “1 year old” after having completed your first Solar return when people start calling “one” (as you work through the second year).
MERCURY
SABIAN 0-1° Virgo — In a portrait the best of a man’s features and traits are idealized.
Summary: The shaping power of idea or ideal over outer form and behavior. Completeness of realization. Pure aggrandizement. Intent.
Quote Source: “This is a symbol of full maturity in human estate, with an emphasis on the personal integrity which represents in general what all men are asked to be in particular. The ideals of an inner life are given their outer manifestation through some self-accepted responsibility on which others can count. Ambition has its high dignity here in the distinction with which it endows those who remain most faithful to its exactions and thereupon become most conscious of its rewards. The Keyword is CHARACTER. When positive, the degree is an effective self-assurance and an ever-clear vision of each emerging opportunity in life.”
It was extraordinarily hot in the attic the day the Mercury operation was set up, when the Thema Mundi Altar was put back up and the poster boards went over the windows. The exact temperature is unknown because the portable air conditioner didn’t read past 99°. This made for a sweaty, wax-drippy ritual even by half past midnight, but was in perfect alignmentwith the lore surrounding Mercury’s departure for Gemini driven by Sol’s excess heat!
Samantha Wax — a wonderful friend, as well as Austin’s administrative assistant in coordinating his Fundamentals of Astrology program — happened to be in town and each lent a hand with the final setup, carrying precious implements up dual flights of (steep) Victorian stairs and helping staple the altar cloth to the floor and windows so it wouldn’t ~move around~ as much as it had previously (which called to mind the signs as “staples” which form the spokes of the Zodiac wheel; and the Planets splitting into dual-specialties which hold creation together). Having a Mercurial 3rd present coordinating Magnum’s kick-off was noted and fitting.
Three days after Magnum Mundi’s inception / Mercury’s installation, on August 26th — while I was in the middle of preparing to launch the fifth Thema Mundi pre-order round — Sphere + Sundry’s web developer informs me the the website’s original theme has irreparably broken.
We had to re-skin and update the site with zero warning starting right then. Which necessitated tens of hours of unplanned work updating our technical platform and removing old code from the front-end over the following weeks (which Sam was also a great help with!).
The next day, on August 27th, we began migrating our testimonials to an entirely new platform, since the old service, Judge.me, had decided to terminate support for any non-Shopify eCommerce platforms.
This cycle also featured a come-to-Jesus moment between myself and our web developer, where we stated a need for deeper commitment to keeping things running more smoothly on behalf of our Clients, or to part ways. This deepened and improved our connection, and lead to some fruitful breakthroughs.
While these Mercurial shifts were all unplanned and tremendously inconvenient in real-time, these new systems have provided big improvements in a number of ways, which ultimately made things easier for us and more navigable for users. It resulted in a total upheaval-come-refresh of our Mercantile Sphere, and notably, after Elizabeth was sent her Magnum Mundi beta testing sample, she also unveiled the first new website Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has debuted since I re-designed one for them back in 2011. Similarly, that site had been giving them a lot of problems for a long while, and a new one was an overdue shift that required biting the bullet, but is already paying dividends.
While my own brutally honest diaristic entries in the life-cycle sections do report some dramatic and extreme examples, the process of performing and birthing a magical operation is always more “violent” than using the end-magic is (having vs. holding the baby / chick). Magnum Mundi is (most likely) NOT going to break someone’s website or testimonials platform; Clients are procuring the full, balanced, and vine-ripened fruits of a fully realized, finished working; not installing elements spoke by spoke and navigating the unwieldy chaotized egregore created one Power at a time over an 8-month period.
For instance: the Black Phoenix website upgrade wasn’t an acute overnight emergency like mine had been; it was already in development by the time Magnum Mundi’s Anointing Oil arrived; its debut within days was simply a notable synchronicity.
What Magnum Mundi does consistently seem to do, is point toward and pressurize what is overdue or is no longerserving — the things (and creatures) that need to change — and encourage them to do just that.
Always, by 100% of reports so far — for the better. Even if it’s difficult in a given moment. It just doesn’t suffer fools or bad, unclear situations to linger.
In other developments, Spicawas created in the Emerald Parlor room of the Thema Mundi house — most benefic Behenian of a combined Mercurial and Venusian nature — betweenMercury and Venus’ Magnum Mundi incorporations. The star would later weave itself into the process in an increasingly loud and spectral manner. (All the rooms in the house came pre-named, btw!).
Note that emeraldisMercury’s stone in theVedic remedial tradition, as well as the one classically ascribed to Spica in the Western. And ~Hermes Trismegistus~ authored the Emerald Tablet. And there’s artwork of a peacock(two actually, like on the Altar table!) behind the Emerald Parlor’s door because of course there is.
VENUS
SABIAN 28°-29° Libra — Mankind’s vast enduring effort to reach for knowledge transferable from generation to generation. Knowledge.
Summary: Intense desire to overcome the blind life of passion and to uplift others. Intellectual vision.
Quote source: “This is a symbol of man’s capacity to make himself a very practical instrument for the accumulated experience or perfected wisdom which has built and now supports the world in which he lives. There is here a universal desire for achievement and realization, and this calls for the fullest dramatization of life’s potential in every possible direction of effort. The faith of the individual in his own reasoning powers must have every chance to prove itself. The Keyword is RATIONALITY. When positive, the degree is a gift for every inspiring or unusual contribution to human well-being, and when negative, an egotism which belittles or defeats even normal accomplishment.”
Another: “One of the most splendid of human characteristics is that we have conscious awareness of and intention to be a living link of the chain that binds past to future, ancestors to descendants(the Thema Mundi to Magnum Mundi). This comes out of our sense of being part ofsomething greater than ourselves, and indeed truly great. This is an aspect of our participation in life and a real guard against the desolation of loneliness that accompanies selfishness.”
Performing this ritual at 5:30 AM on birthday morning felt like an incredible gift from the Universe, as well as a wonderful honor and important call to answer.
This cycle fostered an intentional re-commitment to professional exclusivity between our jeweler and myself, and the fruitful repair of what could have been a potential rupture in the relationship; clarifying, fortifying, and deepening it for decades to come.
It also brought forth the initial teasing campaign and launch of our sister perfume arm.
Venus in Libra III was called to corporeal form in the sitting room of the Thema Mundi house while the Magnum Mundi operation was staged in the attic. The Venus for the new unreleased election also features Venus at 28° Libra, exactly the same placement of Venus’ Aerial Delight (though other chart factors differ considerably!)and the New Moon of Venus’ incorporation.
Promise Austin has not been searching for that placement — it was simply when the best conditions he could find for Her happened to fall.
Bleeding into the next addition, our first Mars-based Decan series — the Third of Leo — launched less than 2-weeks before Mars’ Magnum Mundi addition.
MARS
SABIAN 28°-29° Scorpio — A [Native American] Woman Pleading with the Chief for the Lives of Her Children
Summary: The soul’smediation between spirit and matter. Sustaining power of instincts. Self-awakening to the need for action.
Quote source: “This is a symbol of the stark sacrificesthe self must make in the common interest and of the high responsibilities the group must accept for the welfare of each individual, as these factors together create a functioning society and enable man to control his everyday world. Here is emphasis on the give-and-take in human allegiances, and a call for a balancing of rights and wrongs as a result of direct experience with the problems of self-fulfillment.”
Another: “Prayer as a force that brings peace. We are both soul and ego and the image of soul as mother, and ego as unruly sons, is a helpful insight. The wildness of ego has an unsettling effect upon the community and will be checked for the sake of collective harmony. The chief represents the power of social censure. The mother’s intercession to the chief on her children’s behalf equates to soul activity moderating ego-centred behaviours. Prayer is such a process – the intercession of soul’s love to moderate unbridled passions.”
This paper looks burned at the edges, but it’s just shadow. The perfect union of Aries + Scorpio in visual concert!

This song — the freshly debuted “History”from the album The Boy Who Played the Harp — began playing from my phone speaker without prompt in the middle of Mars’ Magnum integration.
Some of the lyrics were striking because of their blatantly Martial style and tone, but others were more deeply resonant with the higher mission, feelings of burnout / victimization, and one particular portion would become an echo of Luminary’s end:
This is God’s plan, He said it to me An angeleither side (**two signs / Powers) of my bed in a dream Singin’, “You don’t know what you’re yet to achieve And you’re destinedfor some shit you would never believe” Now the gardensame size as Adam and Eve’s (**the echo…)
How can I sleep when there’s money to get with the team? For the lust of the money, the head of the Queen (Elizabeth II)
You know it’s history in the makin’ Shall wemake it? Oh God
Ah, did I, did I get addicted to the life? Well, it’s all that I wanted And it was fun for a while But history smileson us Now we’re on to somethin’ On to somethin’ higher Now hold my hand close I’m inspired
My mum told me what my name really means and the powers just kicked in Got me thinkin’ back to days when I was a victim to this ting
When I know that it’s the reason we managed tomake history Don’t be a hero, I ain’t lookin’ to hurt anyone I got a clean one, and I got a dirtier one (reflection of selves in later dream) I never see a man late to his own funeral, but I done see a man show up early to one (though a wizard is always on time!)
And I’m comin’ from the South(**below in spatial geographic terms; above via chart orientation) of the river (**Cancer horizon), Where the sky is black (**no stars / planets installed) If not for the history that we made, they wouldn’t like rap Ns tryna water down our ting, it’s time to fight back For seventy hours, I’ve been steppin’ with powers, and it’s definitely ours, it’s time You mention my name, better know that you’re playin’withpepper
I’m Michelangelo’s David (**widely considered his “Magnum Opus”) And any time you mention me in a statement, You better know that it’shistory.
Scorpio is the 5th house of the Thema Mundi, so seeing “children” show up in this Sabian symbol was notable.
I had a hard time remembering what this cycle entailed(had blacked it out / burned it down!), so Austin reminded me. Here are the notes from that conversation:
Intense worries about money and the business
Sharp and deep reflection on errors I made
Thoughts about potential corrections
Dark nights, miserable hopelessness
Watched that Netflix documentary about the lady who flew chairs places and spent too much $$$ on plants (lol Victoria Beckham)
Thinking critically about patterns that needed to excised re: financial output and costs, supporting others before self
Very focused onwhat wasn’t working
And it was a particularly dark time, for a number of reasons:
One, we hadn’t launched any new Benefics — astro-magic’s bread and butter — in almost 3-years SINCE Thema Mundi (UNTIL Venus’ Earthly Delights— that commitment to remedial-grade elections is expensive!)
Behold, decades worth of Jupiter’s DOE!
So much had been invested in unreleased raw materials for so many large-scale late Summer and Fall creations (decades worth of Jupiter in Cancer alone!), along with R&D for starter-batches of exceedingly expensiveall-natural luxury perfume.
But most significantly, payroll for over 10 people, management level salaries, benefits, insurance, and upkeep for Sphere + Sundry HQ had ballooned to simply eye watering levels of monthly overhead. Overhead we routinely fell short of. Inflation of operations costs and raw materials(organic or wildcrafted jojoba, oils, alcohols, waxes, herbs; precious metal leaf, remedial-grade stones, bottles, closures, boxes, bubble wrap, shipping — you name it!) had risen incredibly since 2018, but our prices had not.
I had been making almost every decision for 8-years with this idea that “Sphere + Sundry can afford it… so we are somehow obligated?”, letting creative impulse, reflexive generosity, people pleasing, and complete and totalinexperience lead the way, and somewhere along the line — unsurprisingly — the snake began eating its own tail.
Not only was there nothing left over for me to actually have and put toward our family’s nest egg ever, but the company was running at a loss on non-launch months; sometimes substantially so. Launches were being pushed before I was creatively ready in order to pay bills, and I was personally beginning to feel as though I had become more of an indentured servant to the enterprise, than a beneficiary of all these collective efforts.
Sphere + Sundry’s relationship to myself — its Mother— had become extractive, by nature of my own Chiefly ignorance, and even negligence on behalf of the unruly metaphorical children (recall the Sabian). The company had been carrying a personal balance to myself, Austin, and others for years by then, and Mars was the cycle I got really real about all that needingto fundamentally change.
This video about Sphere in Vegas being a gigantic financial failure had just come out a month earlier, and I remember thinking “fvck, I shouldn’t have tied Sphere + Sundry so closely to Sphere in people’s mindsvia Thema Mundi”, which then upgraded to “fvck, I guessmaybe we’re Sphere after all : (”
The trigger wasn’t pulled on a lot of shifts until later, and honestly, the financial pressure was nothing clear-headed structural change and circumstances couldn’t (and wouldn’t) fix, but Mars is a malefic, and this was one of the darkest moments in the cycle. I was feeling drained by what my creations(5th house) were costing me (5th = 2nd from the 4th!); including the lack of sleep and vitality involved in growing and raising an actual baby-come-toddler over the samebeneficless 3-years prior.
Not trying to make it sound more miserable than it was; a lot got accomplished(which needed to get done to do THIS!); and I lovebeing generous with people.
This was an important period to live through, though. And more businesses than not go through tough periods on their way to full maturity; if they’re lucky enough to get there.
I had no idea how to manage resources well or motivate anyone other than myself (and even self-starting was becoming difficult!), and needed to learn a lot of hard, expensive lessons on the business and people front while juggling novel and demanding magical and creative processesalongsidenew motherhood. It had simply become a lot. And Mars brought all that gross underbelly to the surface, in a brutally depressing, confrontational way.
Luckily, Jupiter in Cancer: Sublime Dynamo was a massive holiday launch with reverberating benefits that relieved a lot of acute financial stressors. But it was also a bandaid and I knew it.
(All praise to Jupiter, serving as a generous buffer between the two malefics in TM order!)
This video went up discussing Sphere’s triumphant turnaround, and indeed, their stock price began reaching new highs exactly along Magnum Mundi’s development timeline, popping off in late August of 2025 the week after the operation began on August 23rd and climbing as a general trend ever since (5-year graph below).
All the above are the direct consequences of THIS passage from Thema Mundi’s 2023 write-up, which illustrates how much more “down to earth” Magnum is by contrast:
“The last 5-years has — as for many of our Clients — changed the landscape of our lives, and the setting which houses the (magical) Operation that IS Sphere + Sundry. It has never truly been a business, or even been run like one — that’s just the form things like this seem to assume these days.”
Except because itis a business, it needed to be runmore like one — or it couldn’t survive. No matter howcoolit is. No matter what kind of demand there would be if we went POOF like a dying star in the night.
Because the bottom line is: anything major needs to benefit the people whose visionfuels it, and everyone it truly relies on at every level. If an enterprise has started basically killing you, it has evolved into a parasite whose days are naturally numbered.
Magnum Mundi roped Mars’ attention to the 10th house of career, achievements, and the sign of the Sun’s Exaltation, and opened up negotiations between it and the 5th house of creative output. And the self-harm often involved in these elements of one’s life. Burnout being a Martial (and a Solar…) concept, at day’s end.
These kinds of problems are also emblematic of the differencebetweenThema and MagnumMundis.
Thema is raw, uncontrolled, and unbridled creation. It just goes and it grows.
Which has its place, but over the course of time ~unchecked~ becomes OVERGROWTH, and a dangerous untamed wild addled with of all kinds of stuff you don’t actually wantinthe garden of your own life. A place you can’t even stroll throughto enjoy. Or sit and smell the roses. Roses which require cultivation and management.
Whereas Magnum is ~all~ checks and balances. It is the whole thing, from genesis through pruning, season after season. It is the definition of well-tended. And well-managed. It is hearing every squeak and oiling it, before the wheel ever gets a chance to break. It is everything and everyone in their rightful place, in— and at — exactly the righttime.
Thema Mundi is perfect for the seed-stage of any enterprise. It is fuel for the raw Brahma-like creative force necessary for getting things in and off the ground. For Spiritually orienting to — for cultivating, coaxing, and stoking — one’s Divine Purpose.
Magnum Mundi is for when things have gotten out of hand, and it’s time to invoke order. It is deeply Vishnu-vian. A protector and a preserver of the Good and Worthwhile. A culler of unfruitful ends, and the weeds that inevitably pop up over the course of one’s life, which need pulled by the root — so the Wheel can revolve, smoothly and along one’schosen Path.
But all this comes from knowledge of the other side. First I had to finish Magnum’s buildout…
Toward the end of this cycle, Michele C. posted this video in our Client Community with some seriously on the nose Magnum Mundi iconography (starting at 26 seconds and continuing sporadically throughout), though no one knew that yet! It hit hard personally given all the nighttime disturbances ~laughs cries dies in sleep deprivation~.
Commented: “Bookmarking this as a sync to talk about later. Thank you for sharing! Surreal.”
Welcome to later!
JUPITER
SABIAN 28°-29° Sagittarius — A Fat Boy (Jupiter?!) Mowing the Lawn
Don’t be thrown off by the silliness, crudeness or déclassé nature of this degree’s description! This one is a vital key. And it really helps in understanding Jupiter in Sagittarius’ rulership of the 6th house in the Thema Mundi (of things as mundane and rote as mowing the lawn, and even one’s physical fitness!).
This Sabian Symbol points toward worldly service and tending the vessel as prime mechanisms and enduring foundations of spiritual life; and how physical labors bring about beautification and perfection of form which pleases both God and Man. Note also that lawn mowers are treatments for overgrowth.
Jupiter’s is the longest of the Sabian sections, with long extracts forthcoming.
Summary: Desire for fitness inherent in all living beings. Consciously built, thus dependabledetermination. Persistent endeavor.
Quote source: “This is a symbol of the contribution of familiar experience to the refinement of selfhood, given emphasis by the full self-expenditure required for any satisfactory acceptance into a fellowship with others. Here a practical attention to the immediate needs of the individual as a member of his group is the effective evidence to the broader competency. Social incentives inevitably come to overbalance the more primitive instincts and appetites. The Keyword is PARTICIPATION. When positive, the degree is the calm efficiency which enables man to pour all of himself into the mastery of any situation arising to challenge him, and when negative, complete perfunctoriness of thinking and doing.”
Furthermore (the source goes on):
I’ve got your back, and I didn’t stutter.
Go ahead now. Mow your lawn! Shovel your snow! Draw your line in the sand! Get yourself in gear and show us – in your style! Demand self-light. Insist on self-growth. It will behard work! But that is what you came to do. Perhaps your lawn is a crop circle? Perhaps your light is an aurora? Perhaps your line in the sand is an angel in disguise? Remember that that which is done in the physical realm, is done likewise in the spiritual realm. Be a wise creator. Create from the heart and master your holy self!Maintain control and control direction. Get out there and do what you know in your heart to do. It’s time to trim your hedges, cut your lawn, shovel the drive, blow the snow off the doorsteps or play and build in the sand. It’s time to present an orderly and manicured vision of you for the sake of your future. It’s decision time.
Keywords: “YOUR FUTURE”You are a seed child of light in a world of duality. “You” are here to spread “your” light. It starts at the roots and spreads upward. It pours out of the heart and radiates in all directions, connecting you with your higher realms and dimensions—a place from which you cannot return and see things ever again as they once were seen from the lower dimensions.
Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting: The Soul that rises with us, our life’s Star, Hath had elsewhere its setting, And cometh from afar: Not in entire forgetfulness, And not in utter nakedness, But trailing clouds of glory do we come From God, who is our home: Heaven lies about us in our infancy! Shades of the prison-house begin to close Upon the growing Boy (— mowing the lawn, perhaps?), But he beholds the light, and whence it flows, He sees it in his joy.
Another: “To be involved in community, we must each find a way to attend to another’s needs. All of us must participate as individuals within a group context and this inevitably requires us to offer a service that has practical relevance to our community. ‘Community’ is a concept; in reality we have to find a way to attend to the needs of individuals. Doing so, we give evidence of a broader competency. Not only can we mow this lawn, we can probably mow other lawns, and perhaps even trim hedges. The range of our potential contributions is like an artist’s palette, and speaks of what we have made familiar over the years through the innumerable choices that express our preferences. We can now see that how we serve is the creative expression of who we are. If this service is half-hearted, we will not win full acceptance from our fellows. In most cases, doing our very best is enough to earn full approval, with all the benefits that go along with that approval. It is by mastering challenges that we gain respect – the community needs its members to rise up and overcome. The grinding pressure to conform can mould a person tightly into a pattern that will only ever throw up clones and robots whose projection into the future is dull and perfunctory. The true servant of collective well-being will be able to meet this life-denying force and assert a more creative outcome. In adulthood, the refinement of selfhood thrives on this. Counter-intuitively, the grind is what throws up individuality so much more extravagantly than would a supportive, encouraging environment. The power of social moulding typically tries to disempower primitive appetites and instincts yet can have the exact opposite effect – and the person who can access both the primitive and the social is rare and special. This is the one who has learned to tame the beast. A calm disposition engenders an effective attitude of service, yet the inner passion that allows unbridled appetite is never far away.”
Jupiter’s integration was December 19th, meaning Christmas lights brought ambient sparkle and joyous spectacle to the atmosphere surrounding the working.
I was sick a lot through the lead-up, which was a clear reminder of Sagittarius in Thema Mundi’s 6th house:
“You can have all the riches and success in the world, but if you don’t have your health, you have nothing.” —Steven Adler
I overextended myself cooking a feast(!) and hosting the Team Christmas party(!) but had to leave early due to rapidly going down hill, and spent the next three weeks sweating and sleeping through another round of likely Covid.
The money from the Sublime Dynamo launch allowed me the time and space — the freedom — to do that, making room for a full-system collapse after 4-months (8-years?) of nonstop output.
Price increases were determined and announced, to enthusiastic support by our amazing Clientele.
The sales that triggered also helped create space.
Mentally, I was beginning to feel the warmth of the light at the end of the tunnel — of Sphere + Sundry’s problems; of Lucian beginning to wake less in the night; of becoming profitable again; of being past the mid-point of the Magnum Mundi working.
I caught glimmers of optimism between fever dreams.
“Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end” — John Lennon
SATURN
SABIAN 28°-29° Capricorn — A Woman Reading Tea Leaves
Summary: The quest for inner understanding through all life-conditioning. First approach to reality. Desire to transcend routine.
Quote source: “This is a symbol of man’s persistent desire to establish conscious relationship with an invisible world of over-reality(the signs above Thema Mundi’s horizon!), given an emphasis here on the side of outer or everyday self-encouragement. The mind has its ultimate focus in eternal and universal co-ordinates, and ever tends to fit the exigencies of practical living into some pattern of possible consummations. Conscious experience therefore comes to be supplemented by intuition as a direct realization of pure potentiality. The keyword is SIGNATURE. When positive, the degree is naïve insight as brought to high intelligence in meeting the recurrent issues of life, and when negative, superstitious dependence on the unknown.”
Another: As above so below, all is connected to, and mirrored by, all else (Indra’s net! The Zodiac entire!). It becomes trite to the occultist as a concept but to the realised being it is their main purpose – to see beneath form, facts, feelings and fear. These are all aspects of the glamour that we falsely see as reality and which covers the truth beneath. And that truth is the pattern that interconnects everything everywhere and always. We find the term seeker needs to be updated to troubadour – “I havefound”. We have learned how to see clearly.
The non-viable peafowl eggs found at the start of the working offered on Saturn’s Altar.
—
The gnosis of Saturn’s incorporation was so profoundly immersive, it was the only entry for which real-time notes of substantial length exist. Its themes reared their ugly head in the lead-up to Magnum Mundi’s launch, when we received transmission of Gordon White’s passing on May 10th — Mother’s Day — casting ripples which impacted its rescheduling.
Note that throughout the work and for years leading up, “Meta Mundi” was Magnum’s primary working title.
DIARY ENTRY (edited for clarity):
This is Saturn’s day, January 17th. It is 1:00 PM. I opened my eyes at exactly 11:01 AM – the time of Saturn’s Meta Mundi incorporation tomorrow.
I have been transitioning into keto this last week and have been feeling so tired and heavy since Thursday; the day we moved the Saturn herbs up to the attic for their working. And shared with the Team the way it reminded me of how Saturn’s Thema Mundi day felt. My body remembers. My mind remembers. The magic remembers.
This morning I was going so slow. I had that luxury because Taylor let Lucian stay over last night so I could catch up on sleep, and I am alone because Austin is teaching. He was kind enough to leave me black coffee from his morning, so I didn’t have to make it. No cream in house. The last time I had black coffee might literally have been Saturn’s Thema Mundi day.
I silently peeled two boiled eggs and drank the coffee iced. Came upstairs and was still waking up enough to work, so started playing a new playlist that had been started yesterday.
What came up next was a song I had never heard before — Ronan.
“I love you to the Moon and back” made me listen more closely, as it invoked the transition from Cancer to Capricorn, and further, from Cancer all the way back to Cancer — as this penultimate operation is the only that completes the full circle. Then the line “no one knows what to say, about a beautiful boy whodied”really stuck out… because wtf is this song about?
A little boy who passed of *cancer* days before his 4th birthday. Inspired by and based on the blog of Ronan’s processing, grieving mother, Maya Thompson (Rockstar Ronan).
Listening to the song is recommended before proceeding.
—
Elements of the song invoked Thema Mundi’s recent order:
“Youfought it hard like an army guy…” The embattlement of Mars.
“We’re gonna fly awayfrom here;you were my best4-years…” The sweet release and liberation Jupiter brings when appearing as Angel of Intercession (4 being Jupiter’s number).
And then… theSaturn.
The dark, unavoidable realities of Saturn.
When the Thema Mundi working began, Austin and I knew we were getting near having kids and were gearing up for it. After the 7-day cloister, I emerged to greet everyone, and a Team member immediately shared she found out she was pregnant with her second during that time!
We knew with TM having to do with “creation” and the process of “birthing” (the World or Universe) it would likely align with children and the process of literal procreation, but to have the externalities align with the “conception” is always a bracing reminder of magicin the works. Of it being justasreal or realerthan“reality”every now and again, in a way that defines it. When a moment “meet[s] you where the spirit meets the bones.”
In the time between Thema Mundilaunching and it shipping, we received confirmation of the pregnancy (processes always in utero before we’re even aware…), and much of it was bottled listening to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum podcasts.
Anyway… this song, and Ronan’s story, profoundly impacted me.
Just sent me totally and completely spiraling.
Lucian is with us now in the flesh — just shy of turning two, and the idea of him not being here any longer was deeply affecting.
My heart broke for Maya, Ronan’s mother (that Māyā in spiritual terms has to do with illusory material worlds veiling the “truest” underneath is not lost here), and I entered the embodied ~emotional~ and ~somatic~ experience of mourning my own son’s loss.
Ugly crying mouth agape deep-wailing; imagining myself curled up on his floor bed in the corner of the room, missing the light of my life if it (if he) were to never return.
I imagined the sleepless nights of the now — and how brutal they feel — and how it makes living life hard.
Juxtaposed by the sleepless nights of a post-Lucian world, and how infinitely more terrible, and seemingly unrecoverable, those nights would be.
How it would make living feel impossible.
It made me grateful for THE TYPE of suffering I am allowed to doblessed with now, and made it all seem sotrivial in comparison. Which is a Saturn thing absolutely. Someone somewhere has lived through worse.
It reminded me of the Saturn in Aquarius write-up, and the grief of losing the kitty we called our “first child” of 16-years, Bear. (Which also happened while pregnant; losing animals seems to be commonplace in the lead-up to incarnating children, for whatever reason…).
NOTE FROM EDITOR-KAIT that this section is obviously long, but it reflects the difficulty of the transition from the 7th (of TM’s Capricorn) into the 8th (house of death, MM’s Aquarius), and the reverse — from above the Descendant (land of the day / living) to below it (land of the night / dead). Death(and gnostically, not-death!) are Saturn’s ultimate end-game; and wrestling with these themes — and the emotions they stirred — was part of processing Saturn’s energies as they began settling in to produce the final Planetary installation.
In the mill of all this, two distinct thought-groups began creeping into the over-mind:
I am wasting time… I need to get going on the Saturn incorporation prayer for Meta Mundi tomorrow before Lucian gets home, and
Oh my god…. is this ~asign~ Austin and I to lose our sweet, beautiful son?
Then a cascade:
Is all of this leading to needing to actually process this type of grief / lived reality?
Is this a pre-processin utero that I’m touching on in the now?
Is losing Lucian part of the “cost” of doing this work?
Was it to happen anyway, and this is all scaffolding and context for the dealing of it?
Would I be able to carry on all this ~IF~that happened?
Would I even want to?
Would we everhavekids again? Dareto?
Are we supposed to become the “better”, “softer”people losing our son would make us, to do greatergoodin whatever way?
A self-intervention was (so clearly!) in order.
The answer to all of this was probably simple:
“You’re in Saturn’s trenches.”
“Better metaphorically and magically than literally.”
“Work with the process.”
So I started writing this, like Maya did. Hoping it would lead to what I actually needed to work on.
And I am sure it will.
Because no matter how hard things are, they simply… get done.
They say time moves more slowly for the Dead; and I believe it.
That a day for the incarnate takes a full Lunar Cycle for the deceased; the waning-to-dark Moon being their night, and the waxing-to-full being their day.
(Which is why offerings are left bi-weekly or monthly, often on the Lunations.)
I mention this because, the active gestation of Meta Mundi ~feels like~ experiencing things as the Dead compared to Thema Mundi’smanic unbroken cloister.
These workings will have taken exactly208 daysfrom start to finish if all goes as-planned (note that human gestation is 280!).
Thatlong from when the process formally started to when it is “done”.
Vs. a quick 7 in a row.
Note 208 (length of MM’s process) divided by 7 (number of Powers) = 29.7, and a Lunar return takes the same 29.some days. Not to steal AI’s token cadence(annoying!), but that was not planned; it was predetermined.
The Magnum Mundi vs. Thema Mundi timeline is easier in some ways and harder in others.
It’s a lot to carry alongside everything else that’s been happening (and SO MUCH HAS BEEN HAPPENING!). This morning has me wondering if I’ll actually be ableto get all this over the finish line.
We move from where Thema Mundi ended, to where the Over-World began (and alsoends! Since we technically started in reverse, with the 1st operation being the 12th of Gemini).
Capricorn (Saturn’s first sign) “sunsets” the first world.
We have this straight line from birth (Cancer in the 1st) to (Capricorn in the 7th) death. Fin! Simple.
But it’s not though. A wheel never ends; it simply turns.
“Sleep and Death (Hypnos and Thanatos) are twins, born of the same mother, umbilically entangled, sharing sustanance. Two serpents intertwined, Sleep is the mirror of Death, and a great opportunity to practice for when the time comes.”
Remembering that made me think of auto-pilot; and the importance of relaxing the nervous system. And how I’m getting trapped in the eddy of analyzing all this instead of lightly gazing (and breathing!) through it.
Gazing lightly ahead and tracing the curves of the road with the eyes while driving helps the body know what to do, so the brain doesn’t get in the waytrying to figure out every minute movement. The experience of anxiety while learning to drive comes from attempting to direct the vehicle with the brain (running the hands and feet via micro-management and panicking), rather than letting the vision lead the body in congressive collaboration (and congruence) withthe vehicle.
When we lightlyfocus our eyes (the Luminaries of the body) on what’s slightly ahead but not directly in front of us, thevessel / body handles the rest.
Life is also that way.
Our over-Spirit(and the well-meaning Spirits who “drive” us) know far better than we do.
Intrusivethoughts and the urge to control ~need~ brushed aside, so the process can take care of itself.
The more we interfere, the longer it takes us to get somewhere (and the harder, more anxious and painstaking the journey).
“Go to sleep,” Mother says. “When you wake up, you’ll be there”.
The Sufis, Andrew Chumbley, and the Asclepiads were onto something!
Austin partook of of this magical formula and returned over and over again when writing Thema Mundi’s working Logos:
“I am the Divine Artist, and this is my Dream.”
…dreaming… which happens while unconscious.
I dreamt years ago of myself in a mummy-like sarcophagus, standing upright against a temple wall. One of a number — not a lot, maybe 12 or 13. Not at the end, not at the beginning, but in the middle. Though we could have been in circular formation — all a bit blurry now.
This place was among the stars, and I began referring to it as the “star-crypt”. Related to an intelligence called “Space Skull”, which Austin and I used to joke a lot about somehow, for some reason.
Anyway, I believe in that dream I stumbled upon the “real” dream. The over-self steering this incarnation. Dead, but not. Certainly dreaming. #dreamception
An installation in the stars; erected there ages ago by an aspect of me which shares in the now. Undoubtedly by magic.
Maybe Austin was in one of the sarcophagi beside me.
Or perhaps he’s in his own far off temple-star, and we’re here in this life for the joy of being together, and the children of star and flesh the goal is to sire. Reminiscent of the Bene Gesserit (the grandiosity!), orchestrating their way to some desirable manifest reality through the bizarre practice of astro-magic and deliberate, carefully architected interference in Earth or Humanity’s course. Wouldn’t that be a phenomenal mission?
Enough, I say! It is now 2:30, and I need to pull myself “back to earth” to get this done.
Daydreaming is no waste of time, but it’s not everything, either.
Guess I should get to it.
But it feels sohard(she protests!). And I am honestlyscared of what all this may bring.
Circle back. Every lived experience has confirmed thus far: the worst is in your head. And the anxiety provoked by thinking about outcomes, versus simply livingthrough them, is always the worst part.
Chop wood(Aries). Carry water(Aquarius). Which mirrors the chart of Saturn’s incorporation [Rising, Parts of Spirit and Fortune in the Exaltation Degree of the Sun; and Aquarius — the sign of incorporation]. Saturn rules every classical planet in the chart.
Dad just called 2:51. Opening line:
“Well, I’m the luckiest guy ever, I should be dead”.
He told me a story. I asked him to send me a voice note. He sent this video.
So as I was spiraling about the possibility of losing my son, my father just had a real-time water and rock-based brush with death?
“With my roots above, and all my branches down below…”
— I Believe in Magic; song by Halsey.
This is all feeling way too Kaleidoscopic and big to bring in.To bring together. To labor with.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe throughit — whatever it is.
Let flow move mountains.
Jesus… or actually, anyone who will!… Take. This. Wheel.
To course-correct (stop spiraling!), I vow: This is magic I will use to protect Lucian; to protect my father; to protect Austin; and to protect and preserve anyone and anythinggood I can.
The upstream, downstream | the above, below of it all.
Note that the “all the success” he referred to was training to win Golden Titan’s wrestling championship, but more importantly the goose was an encounter he attributed to his own son’s recently deceased Spirit (— or a vector / messenger for it).
The brother of mine who was killed days after kitty Bear died. Again, while pregnant with Lucian.
If you don’t keep moving (air and water of Aquarius), that’s when everything stops (earth of Capricorn).
Saturn hands to Saturn. Then we start again, but in reverse, no matter which direction you’re headed.
We die with Saturn. We hand to Jupiter: the light of Universal love at the end of the tunnel, beckoning us toward or away from life. Mars, Venus, and Mercury: the life recap. The ups and downs of the interpersonal. The fights we had. The love we made. The conversations held. The things left unsaid.
Feng Shui (went to Feng Shui school with dad…) was originally invented for the Dead, before it was inverted to apply to the living.
It was used to design cemeteries. To locate them for thebenefit of future generations.
(Break) Went to make Ancestral offerings to settle things. Peacocks were out there, so I decided to put the offerings inside the Chi-Builder (the sauna-like thing dad went into in the video to “invoke the healing response”; what he invented / we developed together after graduating Golden Gate) so they wouldn’t get eaten, as Feng Shui dictates: they needed to be left West of the house.
Ate a snack of fruity flavored Magic Spoon with almond milk and sardines, which is so Aquarius-Capricorn it hurts (and not quite as disgusting as it sounds!).
4:04 sitting down to finally actually get to working on this god-blessed prayer. Some final thoughts:
Cap = past, how we got here, the way things are. Aquarius = the anxiety about what might happen in the future. And the inevitability of what will happen: Either our child(ren) will die, and we have to experience it, or they will experience the death of us. It will be painful to experience the death of one’s father, but it would be the natural way of things. It would be worse for him to have to experience the death of me.
Thema Mundi being an open chalice of possibility – vs. the closed circle of Magnum Mundi. Links in chain. Entwined, overlapping cycles of fate.
Life and death, past and future. Their ultimate concurrence. Nothing is ever in the past; so long as it is remembered (which the body and Spirit can do without conscious memory). All roads taken lead to future’s unveiling; future is always sending satellite pings to the here and now, wherever and whenever that happens to be.
All is as it is supposed to be.
Life starts where death begins : death begins when life ends. Dying is as much a portal as an event.
Time and space are corrosive to all matereality.
Being in one’s head (or on one’s phone!), not noticing the river of life passing before them…
IT IS NOW 11:03 PM the day of Saturn’s incorporation. It just so happened that 11:03 was when the ritual actually started, since I was running a little behind (needed to find and pour Saturn in Cap oil; took a long time since OOS).
Today was easier and harder than I thought, in retrospect, it may be.
The dying / dead child motif looms large.
I kept listening to Ronan on repeat and cried more today than I can remember doing since probably mom died.
Byakko has been glued to my side; like he feels the heavy energy and is staying with the trouble* somehow.
/ end of diaristic section
Cut to May 10th. Mother’s day. I get a message from Avalon to call her or James.
Magnum Mundi was supposed to launch on May 20th. A week is “lost” to grieving.
Magnum’s debut is pushed back to June 8th. And again, to June 16th.
I hope to write a dedicated piece on Gordon’s passing (this section is already overlong), but suffice it to say that many in the esoteric sphere are reeling from the corporeal loss of a great man in what happens to be the lead-up to this release. One who had an undeniable influence on many, including Sphere + Sundry. Whose work is inextricable from our magical DNA, primarily by way of Hermanubis — Mercurial Psychopomp.
The space that separates life from death is being shown to me as the reflective surface of a pool of water, registering as this fixed yet permeable boundary.
It reminds me of the tea leaves in the oracular cup from our opening Sabian Symbol…
Gordon would have loved that one.
I almost sent him Magnum Mundi oil for beta testing weeks ago.
God am I glad I didn’t.To kill a beta tester would have been very bad PR.
Dream in Peace and in Power, Mr. White. Loved, missed, and appreciated you are.

The cycle between finalizing the Planetary incorporations and ending with the Luminary capstone was twice as long as all but the first, due to skipping the Aquarius Eclipse.
Plastic bags were used to black out all sources of light, leaving the incubation chamber in total darkness (taken down just before the Luminary ritual began).
This interim period was largesly devoted to preparing Spica, which wrapped itself up in Magnum Mundi — or just already contains Magnum Mundi (the Zodiac and all creation) — which made it really high maintenance and confusing to “download” (and contributed to its own delayed and half-baked launch process, but we got there!).
The spectral hawk is seen on the chimney above Magnum Mundi’s altar, in utero in the attic below.
Buckle up for this one’s Sabian symbol…
LUMINARIES
SABIAN 28°-29° Pisces — Light Breaking into Many Colors as it Passes through a Prism (I SHIT YOU NOT!)
Summary:Capacity of mind totransfer its powers to machinery. Enlargement of perception. Aclosing-in of vision. Subtle analysis.
Quote source: “The white light is divided into a diversity of rainbow colours by a raindrop or a prism and shows clearly the allegory of the relationship between the One and the many. Isn’t this what we’ve been seeking for – the understanding of our relationship with God? God chose to express itself as diversity, the Creator created a multiplicity of facets ofitself. We cannot therefore ever expect to end our evolutionary journey – since God itself is not static, The Creator is creative and so always changing its expression like a kaleidoscope. Life itself therefore requires differentiation. We do not know God only by surrendering the self, we need also to express the self creatively.”
It continues:
The prism is a device created to validate the hypothesis that white light is irrefutably made up of component colours having different wavelengths. This is not something that occasionally changes, according to moods or dates, or even variations in pressure and temperature, but is a fixed point of reference for us all.
The world is essentially stable; we can rely upon normal processes to have normal, appropriate outcomes. It is upon this fact that we have collectively created our understandings about the nature of reality, and how to navigate the stormy waters of physical life.
What we call common knowledge has its foundation in this stability, and normal intelligence then validates our personal experience, by making connection between what we feel, and what we know must be true.
Nature does not amend its working principles willy-nilly, and neither does a mature individual. What is is, and it has a strong inclination to remain so. Existence itself arises out of a set of basic values, which do not change unnecessarily. Through these principles, we are able to maintain a sufficient degree of control over our environment to ensure survival and the accomplishment of our purposes in life.
As years go by, the values by which we live become the qualities that enable us to expand our experience, and develop knowledge, faith and wisdom. The promise of exceptional achievement is made good through the application of remarkably fine judgement, which shows in the finesse we bring to the realisation of our core vision.
Perhaps now we see that the prism image is a metaphor that speaks to us of how Unity is one with diversity, despite appearances. We may also come to see that in fact, whatever we may find close at hand gives evidence to the same cosmic relationship – all is one, and ever has it been so.
Note that I didn’t look up the Sabians until the Magnum write-up was being composed (which was after Spica debuted in calendric terms), so finding the prism-produced rainbow as the final working’s indicator given how Spica acted — and what Spica means — was just an insane spectral cherry atop all else.
This entry is now from around noon-time Sunday June 14th.
I woke up having gotten to sink into a rarenight ofdreamwork and morning of contemplation since Lucian stayed with his caretaker. We are one full working day from launch, and much the write-up needs to be finalized still. Primarily the gnostic meat of Luminary section and the entire third act: what does Magnum do, who should approach it, and how?
This area featured a tangent on Spica, the Mundi’s project, and how the number 11:11 binds them, but is better suited to appearing as an article of its own. (When that’s been finished, a hyperlink will appear in the title, and notifications will go out.)
This morning’s additional information is more directly related (and fruitful!), but it has taken a lot of time to get here. Time I ~almost~ didn’t have. It will be used to aerate incoming text and elucidate some sort of landing.
Leading into writing the Luminary conjuration, I wrestled with the fact that the world had become what seemed like a darker place since Thema Mundi had debuted in 2023. Talking heads espoused what felt like a timeline shift. Like the veil had been pulled from the public’s eyes. Things we used to file under “conspiracy theories” were now-openlyacknowledged as facts. Elite PDFile rings. The like.
I do not believe Thema Mundi was at allresponsible for that, but I saw in this project an opportunity to do more to tilt the scales in goodness’ favor. Yet I was unsure of how much to stray from neutrality.
I didn’t want Magnum to bring us more of the world as it is, or was. What I wanted — and want — is a better worldfor Earthlings, all.
We had just recently introduced Lucian to a bit of classic Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, and the night before the Luminary working, watched an excellent documentary on Fred Rogers (American folk saint of the highest order), — Won’t You Be My Neighbor?
There is a part where he is called to give a post-9/11 address and spoke of a Judaic concept called Tikkun Olam — which I had never heard of before — meaning: the duty to repair the world and creation.
This was absolutelythe unsubtle synchronicity I needed to go hog-wild on baking positive ends and the best of intentions into the final Luminary capstone. To make it about Kintsugi and salvation and the overcoming of all illusory separateness that keeps human beings from being the best to one another (and themselves) they can possibly be. Of healing the rifts withinus that keep any Spirit from achieving its highest and best in this and future lifetimes.
Gratitude and glory to the immortal soul of Fred Rogers.
That night I was in the shower* getting ready to go to the final ritual on the Pisces New Moon, and started listening to Become What You Are by Alan Watts on audiobook (upon Spotify’s auto-recommendation; free w/ premium).
*Mentioning this because this entire Mundi’s project began as a Mary Jane-induced shower thought and the whole thing felt very full circle!
There were so many syncs they can’t even be properly documented; I just suggest if youfeelcalled toengage Mundi’s arcana that you read or listen to it. The title alone is fantastically emblematic.
This final addition involved powdering the consecrated Magnum Mundi herbal matter — 30 rituals and 7-years in the making — and sprinkling it in the glass and pillar candle molds which had been suffumigated, over which beeswax was poured.
Oils and spirits met with herbs for the first time, filling the 6x fumigated jars. It felt powerful and luminous.
It was also the longest of any of the integrations by far, lasting from 7:20-10:00 PM, which began a period of final incubation before a super quick turnaround to (first attempted!) launch.
I got in the car to go home and solicited a random song to play from a list of hundreds of liked Spotify singles. What began as I made my way through the exit gate — “Man at the Garden” by Kendrick Lamar — facilitated a surreal and atmospheric drive which reminded me of the song that had begun playing by itself during Mars’ integration.
Not only in terms of the bravado bordering on braggadociousness (which should otherwise be ignored!) that both feature, but because of the higher-calling elements paired with the first verse of “History” ending with a reference to TheGarden of Adam and Eve.
We had arrived. The work was finally done.
Twice emotional stability(leaving installation of the dual Luminaries) Of sound body and tranquility, I deserve it all… Like minds and less enemies… The respect and the accolades… More money, more power, more freedom… Everything Heaven allowed us, I deserve it all ‘Cause my intentions was pure Even with every allure How much temptation you endured? I’m wakin’ up at 6 a.m. Six miles a day, conditionin’ my wind (mowin’ that lawn…) Writin’ words, tryna elevate these children Pray for those who prayed against me Every reason why my ancestors sent me Put a smile on my mama Good health and good karma – yeah, she deserves it all A better life for my daughter Made my son take it further than his father – yeah, he deserves it all A close relationship with God Whisper to me every time I close my eyes He say, “You deserve it all”
All of the Talismans featured on the Altar and worn throughout the Mundi workings are the handiwork of S+ collaborations with Tony Mack, aside from the single Mars in Scorpio bloodstone, etched by Austin.

Magnum’s incubation period actually took a few days longer than the the minimum Lunar cycle, to wait for the more appropriate astrology. I anointed myself and Austin for the first time with the Oil on April 22nd 2026, as the Moon approached Jupiter on Thema Mundi’s ascending degree.
Austin laid down afterward for about half an hour of journeying while I picked white and yellow flower petals off of the bouquets and finished the candles.
This initiated a period of intense reorganization and restructuring which dominated the coming period, and also contributed to its launch being pushed back into June — almost a full year from when our opening timeline began.
I shared what Austin wrote of his vision in an announcement post on Instagram about the delay, re-pasted below:
“I became a circle, curving back in on myself like the Melothesiac Man coiled around the entire circumference of the sky. My curving circle started at birth and completed itself at death. At the point that the serpent bit its tail, I entered the space at the center. There I was suspended in a pre- and post- life womb-cathedral, surrounded by twelve stained glass windows. My light was differentiated by the twelve multicolored panes, reflecting what would and could be at every part of the cycle.”
He began telling me of this, and we started joking about the cosmic fetus at the end of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey (often called the Star Child scene). After he took leave, I noticed he had drawn this in the dust of the Thema Mundi globe.
The working room and Magnum materia felt like an intact, luminous egg — glowing and protective. It felt warmer and in some ways lighter than Thema did. Though I know now months later as I write, we were encountering the softvelvet exterior leading to Magnum’s tough iron core.
The next two months were full of external and internal processing. A lot of the changes that had been looming started enacting themselves, and I kept getting caught up in the waves of dealing with them, rather than being able to work on the launch directly and exclusively, as had been intended.
Magnum’s magic is unflinchingly progressive. As in, it starts making changes in the real-worldright away, supporting its operators in picking up and reassembling the right-construction of pieces.
Like how it makes almost 10 never-ending months to make a baby, and then you get it home and all hell breaks loose!
We had a complete managerial overhaul, which saw drastic reductions in Sphere’s (superfluous)overhead as multiple people left-left and others geographically departed to work in a more streamlined, remote fashion.
That’s one of the Magnum things. People (and peacocks! — remember at the start of this, how the third wheel disappeared to make way for the two love birds? So they could egg? Anyway! —) leaving. Either of their own volition or yours.
A lot of people are stuck in life, in places and circumstances they don’t belong; not meaningfully serving themselves (or others). Magnum will kick that right along, which can absolutely result in being upended and needing to rebuild certain things. This is a feature, not a bug.
But primarily if you know and come in eyes open from the outset!
One of the big changes upon the horizon is going back to our original (though improved!) andiconic stickers, rather than continuing to stamp words on bottles.
This change will take time to enact of course, and will be fully explained in its own announcement down the line, but what is clear in hindsight is that the shift itself was a side-effect of the MercuryandGeminiinfluence baked into Magnum’s field, as the egregore of Sphere + Sundry approached bringing it to fruition.
As creation progressed, we went from painting images on cave walls to writing with alphabets on papyrus, and this temporary evolution in Sphere’s labelingmirrored that evolutionary development.
Thema debuted the first ever bottles stamped with paint, though still an icon (it was why we got the machine!). Then we began stamping the general catalogue items but with text a couple years ago (seemed like it might be easier and more elevated, but created a lot of internal operations and usability problems in terms of paint coming off high-use items; though we were told they’d be “dishwasher safe”). The Magnum bottles will again be stamped, but with an icon once more, coming full circle.
Which brings us to the artwork. Not showing images of the bottles (or the treats!) until at least a month after fulfillment begins, so Clients who partake get to experience the surprise!
The image ended up beginning as a collaboration between myself and Grant Hanna(who has done the artwork for the second edition of 36 Faces!), evolved somewhat in-person by myself and Dira Osland, and finally given some digital retouches by Jaime (of Client Services acclaim!) so it read better post-stamp. More will be revealed…
Though it is bottled in the same ultra-preservative violet Miron glass, like its sister Thema Mundi.
Raw samples of Anointing Oil were sent to a select handful of beta testers with thorough backgrounds in magic, as well as “western” and “vedic” (Jyotish!) astrology. They were given zero information about what to expect, but asked to parallel itwith their experience of Thema Mundi and when they would recommend someone reach for one over the other.
Final impressions and commentary are available in the toggles below. Note that any bold and italic emphasis are mine (for ease of reading long blocks of text and differentiating their intros). Some also posted early impressions in the comments of the earlier post referenced, which can be read for those curiouser and curiouser…

(Notes from First Contact)
Circles everywhere within me, the space they enclosed the most important part.
Then I became a circle, curving back in on myself like the melothesiac man coiled around the entire circumference of the sky. My curving circle started at birth and completed itself at death. At the point that the serpent bit its tail, I entered the space at the center. There I was suspended in a pre- and post- life womb-cathedral, surrounded by the warm glow of twelve stained glass windows. It was my light they glowed with, differentiated by the twelve multicolored panes, reflecting what would and couldbe at each part of the cycle.
It occurred to me that this was the inside of a natal chart. We usually only see the stained glass patterns glowing from the outside, not the luminous sourcewithin.

MM is the circle complete, the wheel entire. Every constituent part is in its place. Nothing is missing, unattended, or unaddressed. Furthermore, every point has a complete set of relationships. In the aspect language of astrology, each Planet-in-Sign is opposed, doubly trined, doubly squared, and doubly sextiled. Thus the full complexity of each part’s relationship to every other part is present. This fullness of relationship is coherence, the very definition of structural integrity. The perfect circle has no weak points.
MM brings this quality to the life. Gaps get filled, relationships deepen, things and people move into the place they fit best. The actions are cleaning, repair, and rearrangement, and they result in greater stability, strength, ease, and durability. MM’s perfect circle structure helps find a place for difficult experiences, because within the wheel entire there are already places for grief, hardship, and loss. They are not a violation of the sacred pattern, but already perfectly addressed by it.
While MM is the circle complete, TM is the first ray of light, fully extended into its 7 colors and not yet curved back on itself. TM is a word with 7 letters and 7 notes exhaled over 7 days. It is an outbreath of creation, and while compounded of a full complement of forces, it is meaningfully simpler and more direct than MM.
If life has room to grow, yawns wide with absence, or is just beginning a new arc, TM’s creative potency is useful. It rushes forth to fill available space with idea, design, energy, and manifestation. It nurtures projects in their infancy, provides the thrust to get things off the ground, and offers the support to move into new phases and spaces. It is the energy of the Great Beginning, ever-present in each little beginning. If you are in the middle of an arc, and life is full, perhaps too much so, MM is appropriate, as it engages with the complexity of life-in-motion. It addresses the disorder of a busy life by guiding things back to their best place, cleaning away accumulated detritus, and restoring right relationship. Perhaps most importantly, it facilitates our re-establishment in the center of the circle, the seed-point of emanation. Abiding there, with our Reason for setting the wheel in motion, we cannot help but understand its turning.

In the Vedic tradition, important eventsandrituals will generally start with aninvocation of Ganeśa (Here-ness), an offering to the physical directions (Space), and the pacification of the planets (Time). This establishes one in good space and good time. Elections are never perfect, and there is always some flaw in the “feng shui” of our location. Rituals that bring balance to Space and Time, and then ground presence, help ensurea successful ritual or event.
The Thema Mundi and Magnum Mundi both work with the capacity to bring us into good Time. They are great to use before important events, and anything that requires an election will benefit from these as a foundation to whatever else you may use. The start of big projects can use these remedies to support overcoming issues in the election itself. They can be used to empower spiritual initiations, to uplift graduations (even by simply placing them on the card or gift to the graduate), for the beginning of journeys by placing them in a vehicle, for moving into a new home by placing them on the mantels or frames of doors and windows, etc.
In general, I use the Thema Mundiseries whenever I want greater support from the Universe. It has a softer, more caring tone. It brings a sense that there are powers in this reality that have our back, and that there is a greater force supporting us in achieving success. It brings harmony with the forces of the solar system that are waiting to be called upon to make great things happen on this plane. It is great alone and supportive of the success of other remedies, especially when that remedy may need to alter other factors to be successful. When used with other remedies, experiment with putting it on the back of the neck, shoulders, or back of the head, and the other remedy on the front part of the body to enhance its supportive influence.
The Thema Mundi is significant and, when used alone, supports creating works of lasting value—books that are consequential, consultations that are meaningful, and products with enduring significance. It also opens a multi-perspective understanding in our present world of extremes, where people tend to close their views. The harmonious mix of the planets in their wellness connects us to a wider range of perspectives, which then resonate with more people.
In the Thema Mundi, all the planets have one sign, which brings a more gentle support, while the Magnum Mundi has the planets empowered by all signs, therefore containing all oppositions. It has a stronger, more active, and more yang presence.
I use the Magnum Mundi when I want a push to move forward. It has all of the same qualities described above, but with a more forceful impetus to get a job accomplished. It makes events seem to accelerate as more of their interconnectedparts begin moving into place (not in the sense of making something happen sooner [like Expedite], but in getting more pieces of the process into motion).
It brings a greater alertness that can be focused to accomplish more, and it also increases the amount happening around you, both in the moment and throughout the day. My first utilization of the remedy had projects that were dragging suddenly begin receiving phone calls and gaining the momentum needed to move forward. While the TM supports other remedies by gently working out issues and blockages to accomplish their goals, the MMpushes results more forcefully—each has its place.
I would mix the MM with anything that we would want to work more quickly but that has a lot of moving parts that need to be worked out to make it happen.
The push forward that the Magnum Mundi gives may be a bit much for someone with ADHD to use regularly. I would recommend using stabilizing and centering scents such as sandalwood to be able to utilize everything that the MM offers without it being too overwhelming. For the slower, more procrastinating types, the Magna Mundi is particularly beneficial.
Whichever is more fitting, having one of these remedies for important events is wise for anyone doing regular rituals or beginning events with elections in order to increase the likelihood of success and the fulfillment of their intentions. For those who do not use elections, applying these remedies to an important event that ideally would have had an election is the next best thing you can do.

To understand Magnum Mundi, I think it might best be described in direct contrast to its sister ground-breaker Thema Mundi. While I experienced Thema Mundi acts as a radical reset for my inner, spiritual self, Magnum Mundi feels like an equivalent reset for my outer, material self. By “reset,” I mean something akin to the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP)—a process through which obstructions, negative influences, and whatever is misaligned in your life gets stripped away, granting “the way it’s supposed to be” a genuine chance to shine through.
Yet, the mechanics here are entirely distinct. Thema Mundi has the atmosphere of an austere stone hall: it is very matter-of-fact, almost theoretical, dictating how your life is supposed to look from the absolute, cold third-person perspective of the spiritual and intellectual realms. Magnum Mundi, on the other hand, approaches similar structural directions but does so from the perspective of materially aware guides. Here, comfort isn’t forsaken; in fact, it is quite central. While a detached, factual sense still underpins the current, its ultimate goal seems to be to make you materially satisfied, even comfortable, rather than strictly “right” in the sense of a rigidly enforced dharma.
Its method is to bring satisfaction through satisfaction—attracting higher levels of material stability by training the focus on the smaller comforts that already exist in your immediate environment. I suppose this really is classic manifestation via gratitude for the little that is already here. The energy is undeniably luxurious—far removed from the austerity of Thema Mundi—but it manifests in a balanced, light, fresh way that never sickens (which I know can happen when “too much of a good thing” gets out of hand).
Ultimately, my core experience of Magnum Mundi so far is the art of getting the mundane aspect of life just right: not too little, but also not too much. Everything is brought into its right place and right measure. I fully expect prolonged use to bring life-changing shifts in physical circumstances, as a natural result of internal alignment, rather than a disruptive means to it.
A perfect example of this somatic grounding occurred recently when I worked with the Luna in Cancer Kolonia, a notoriously temperamental materia in the S+ arsenal! My experience when I applied the Kolonia for the first time was immediately overwhelming, triggering a powerful, persistent physical reaction akin to a sudden rush of adrenaline. The chthonic, raw lunar profile—heavy with notes of mushroom, fern, and forest undergrowth—was intensely bothersome and genuinely turned my stomach. Even a shower with Thema Mundi Spell Soap, while restoring a sense of control, couldn’t fully ease the weird, volatile physical static.
Out of instinct, I applied Magnum Mundi oil to my hands. The relief was instant. The potent lunar vibrations didn’t diminish or disappear at all, but Magnum Mundi provided the physical and emotional matrix the exact comfort it needed to host the current. I was immediately able to relax and enjoy the invocation.
For the practicing sorcerer, this suggests an incredible tactical utility. By firmly linking the order of the earthly realm with the blessings of the transcendental, Magnum Mundi acts as a powerful somatic anchor. It creates a state of protective, dignifiedluxury that ensures your practical, thaumaturgy-based magic aligns perfectly with what is actually good for your ecosystem, preventing backfires by gently (but potently) ordering your affairs from the inside out.
Here is a Tarot reading I did for the Magnum Mundi series, for the cartomancers among you 😀

Magnum Mundi organized and aligned perception, will, and creation from the center outward. It did not inspire a project so much as open the space where a project or creation seemed to already belong, pulling it well within reach. Something that had existed as an idea and desire outside my usual creative mediums was able to be made manifest with grace and momentum. I became aligned with the conditions that allowed particular skills, knowledge, and actions previously unfamiliar to me to arise as needed, with relative ease, the perfect amount of challenge, and with great enjoyment. The distance between vision/desire and execution became thinner.

Magnum Mundi invokes an effulgent essence in contrast to Thema Mundi’skinetic force.
Thema Mundi shifts the earth beneath, it propels from within and dispels inertia with a heft of action. Magnum Mundi penetrates into a golden stillness. It attunes the mind and will to a centrifugal awareness, pointed and omnipresent, bringing resonance with a force that extends beyond the normal confines of self.
The first sensations came quickly with quiet euphoria, a comfortable paradox of ease and greatness. Actions arose from a purity with no need for certainty. I felt strong but at peace, connecting with life more deeply and fully. I came to trustit in moments where I could not afford to get in my own way or to be small. I could see clearly into patterns of toxicity that had always eluded me, illusions I could never untangle, with a liberating truth that could only be described as enlightenment.
Power resides in what already is. Desire and doubt fall away because nothing feels distant or out of reach.
Revelatory experiences of working through shadow brought on synchronicity that led to the concept of Holy Guardian Daemon. How magical orders would immediately dive into Goetic workings after higher level contact that would quickly conjure swarms of darkness to be dispelled. It elevated all other magical operations, entwining many diverse fibers toward culminating hybrid results.
Magnum Mundi possesses the properties of a Philosopher’s Stone. It dissipates the non-essential and allows for the innermost light. It brings forth states of the transcendental: the dissolution of blockages and distortions palpable in the immediate psychological state, a consistent depth of spiritual condition, actualized external events that brought about profound healing and wisdom. It gently conducts the practitioner to a divine center with no disruptive overwhelm, and harmonizes external conditions into organized cohesion.
I am exceedingly grateful for the privilege of testing Magnum Mundi. Here is a substance produced through rare proficiency in astrological magic by inspired ritual operation without precedent. It is a milestone in the history of magical accomplishment. It is a healing gift and a blessing for the world, conceived in the spirit of generosity and love.

“Art [technē] partly completes what nature [physis] cannot bring to a finish, and partly imitates her”– Physics (II. 8, 199a15)
Aristotle highlights the experience, and my best explanation of the magical axis that Magnum Mundi has presented to me. Raising the barandthe worthofeverything it touches, adding a flair that I have not experienced with any singular collection. Immateriality and states of existence that allow for the realities Thema Mundi has birthed to grow and flourish with an accelerated pace and support system that feels just as divine as the 12 moments that define this spirit’s praxis.
The context of initiation into the spheres was something that I experienced when working with Thema Mundi, three years ago. The addition of Magnum Mundi being deployed for almost two months during each conjuration of a planetary angel, saints, familiar spirits, or fixed star resulted in the elevation of these established pacts and relations with the starry firmament and their aid and attention toward my petitions and theurgy. The results reached from one corner of the world to the other! (Literally)
With each update back to Kaitlin week after week, the omens of an ancient temple of Aphrodite being unearthed in Spain were a major synchronization for me, epithets of Lady Venus from Pliny the elder help cement the findings.
Following a pilgrimage to the temples of the ancient gods who’s names and Greek lore saturate our understanding of astrology as we know it. Walking the ancient temples of Olympia in Greece to the mountain peaks where once Artemis and Apollo resided in Zakynthos all were places I found this series speaking to me the most! Offering this collection to the spirits of the land, watching how the numen awakened to their old forgotten names and hymns over the last month, has changed my understanding and exalted my relationship to the celestial 7 and their 12 homes, the result? A fascinating way of connecting one with the right people, space, and opportunity for exaltation.
To reach states of success and access to power, both in the spiritual and mundanerealm, has been a result of conscious, tactical, and elected use of this material to grasp the specific power that each sign and planet holds in this collection. Both in my personaltheurgical practice, along with the use of this for the elevation and empowerment of just about any endeavors, specifically ones angled toward the victory promised and embodiment by the celestial starlight, would benefit both from the empowerment and purification that celestial starlight confers when conjured with the efficiency this series has.
Gratitude to all for devoting their valuable time and attention to Magnum’s unfolding!
It was important that experienced practitioners (other than only Austin and myself) throw their two cents in the ring, since this operation has no prior precedent or classic “by the book” quotations upon which to rely.
I was incredibly impressed by all the information and insight the beta testers came back with (though I shouldn’t be with such talented, insightful, and experienced practitioners!), and want to affirm that all of this has been in perfect alignment with my experience as well.
The candles used for the Magnum working are the same ones burned on Thema’s altar. Since the central Luna and Sol candles began being lit on the 1st and 2nd days of the 7 total, they are much shorter than some others.

Returning to the dreams of June 14th, one of the most notable parts was staying at a hotel and walking into the bathroom. The light was off, and it was dark. I switched the light on and was immediatelystruck by this horrifying reflection of a smaller humanoid entity standing to my right side, slightly behind me. It was reminiscent of playing Bloody Mary (but by accident!) and seeing the girl from The Ring next to myself in the mirror opposite.
I turned the light off and then switched it back on for a second time, hoping it would go away, but it — she — was still there. This disturbed me to no end, and I ran to douse myself in Deneb Algedi Kolonia.
Applying it made the entity go away for a little while, but not long. I remained horrified by the knowledge she was always there even when I could not see her, and then came to realize that: what I saw in the reflectionwasmy own shadow. The darker, smaller, negative aspects of me who haunt the person I otherwise am.
Upon waking and processing with Austin, the Magnum tie-ins were obvious:
It was dark and then the lights were turned on twice — incorporation and activation of the dual Luminaries. The Luminaries which both oppose Saturn in Zodiacal terms — representing (at its basest) the darker, dirtier, more shrunken elements of life, the material world, and our very selves. In the mirror (Magnum creates a mirror of Thema Mundi) weretwoof me — a “light” twin and a “dark” twin — the Gemini and oppositional forces at play. Turning on the light revealing all (2x).
There was a later part to the dream I won’t go into as deeply, but it involved feeling clawed in the back and asking a girl to help me remove a bra I was wearing. I was under the impression we were on good terms (not someone I actually know; a total dream-rando), but she revealed disdain and apathy by coming over and making a point of letting the pain linger before spilling some liquid on my back and left shoulder, then finally unclasping it.
The girl expressed she was only there waiting to see what I would produce for her and her male partner (magically and materially; again with sets of two people!) , and she had no actual interest or investment in my personal wellbeing beyond what I could provide for them. Inferring I had better get back to work.
I observed that the bra was a white lacy number with a rose and thorn design, and the stains left from the liquid were yellow. I had to fix and untwist something before putting it back on.
Debriefing, I connected the white and yellow colors to the flowers in the final Luminary bouquets (inspired by the Sun and Moon’s palette); in addition to the fact that brassieres wrap ’round and contain the Cancer and Leo-ruled parts of the body — the heart and the breasts.
Tools of the Mother for nurturing life…
It made me begin thinking about the transition from Saturn and the 7th and 8th houses(which had been all-consuming for a really long time; in write-up and life terms), to the Luminaries in the 1st and 2nd, where the Magnum operation ‘ended.’
A lot of the losses (and gains) I was in the process of obtaining were the termination or evolution of relationships (7th house) based on the shifting of financial and value exchanges(8th house = 2nd from the 7th), which happens in both professional and personalterms. The 8th house is famously associated with inheritances(typically occuring after a death…) and debts, but also divorces and encumbered assets. Money and stuff which you have a claim to or canaccess in some sense, but isn’t really all the way yours. This includes things like severance payments. All of which are designed to settle negative feelings of entitlement and loss when a relationship severs.
The opposinghouses and bodies toSaturn are the Moon in the 1st house of Cancer and the Sun in the 2nd house of Leo. Note that Saturn is the only non-Luminary that doesn’t get a single Planet it routinely opposes. It would take the Greatest Malefic to cross-check Sol and Luna, non? What but light casts darkshadows?
The focus comes to the 1st and the 2nd —at long f-ing last. Ourbodies and ourbelongings. Our personal perspectives and assets.
Note that one of the reported and experienced “side effects” is improvement in diet, physical fitness and appearance.
Now I might be going into these dynamics a little too much because these are heavy issues for me; especially at this point in my life. Though I would argue that these are some of the hardest issues any incarnate person ever deals with: ourselves vs. our relationships (and our shadows! our opposers!) and what is ours vs. what we are owed (or what we believe someone else owes us). Finances in a late capitalist hellscape. Ego issues and shadowwork.
But know that Magnum Mundi will help illustrate and (at least attemptto) fix whatever the key issues are in ~yourown~life, because it contains all 12 placements in equal measure, and it’ll activate everything — whatever and whenever needs activated.
Also know that in practice, Thema felt (and was) fast to literally create (the 7 vs. 208 days), but has a much slower speed of actual operation compared to Magnum. Magnum took much longer, but tends to create an almost instantaneous flurry of activity right away in the lives it enters. And that’s reflected in long-awaited pre-order rounds vs. launching to the general catalogue for basically immediate fulfillment, as well.
Anyway, in the throes of some of these changes, I had texted: “I need to put myselffirst in the same way you do.”
And it made me think of the 2nd house as a garden. As The Garden.
The Garden some of the song-syncs invoked.
With the lawn that needs mowing and the roses that need planting, feeding, and pruningseasonafter season.
And how a person can never truly ~outsource~ the tending of what is their own responsibility.
Thecultivation of goodnessin our own Spheres; which is the result of peace, contentment, fairness, and right-relationship on an ongoing, balanced basis.
No one can cultivate the garden of the life we ~personally~ desire but ourselves.
With the help of only the highest of Powers!
And more than anything, that is what the Mundi’s project has to do with.
Thema helps us in the growth phase; and Magnum steps in when the overgrowth starts becoming more of a threat than barren openness is.
We realize that: as the Universe experiencing itself, and as a shard of God dreaming ~all of this~ into Being; no one is in a better position than ourselves to WAKE UP to this lucid Dream of an Incarnation and take The Wheel.
~Our~ Wheel.
Collectively and Individually.
The herbs and dust from the Mundi workings have been swept into the holes in the floor,
becoming part of the house’s uppermost foundation forever more.
—
For when we have nothing and haveaccomplished nothing, it is hard to feel good about ourselves; as we haveyet to realize our great potential. There is something each and every one of us has come to this Earth to make; of ourselves, and of its clay.
But it is just as as easy to get lost in the thingsyouhave and whathas been accomplished, and get buried alive and bound by in the unchecked, nonstop growth of material worldly endeavor.
Which is why material wealth has been regarded as antithetical to spiritual development. Magnum says, no more!
The keywords for the Mundis are: I. BECOMING; II. BEING, and III. BELONGING.
The Great ~Beings~ are all ones who have unlocked some key aspect of functioning in this realm, and have mastered it.
Magnum aids in just that.
That “Lady Lady” is the Universe; note 12 people in the placeholder; mirrors; circular formations of 7.
—
The cliffhanger-feel ending is somewhat intentional. Magnum has Her own plans for you; and the write-up will continue to be written in the aether — and the Client Community! — by each person’s own experiences in concert with it.
Shipping will begin this week and continue until the Great Work is done.
Your Mage will begin bottling Thema Mundi as soon as she is able, and when it is ready within the coming weeks or months, it will be added to the General Catalogue.
Both the Mundi’s will be available while Materia lasts on a routine and revolving basis, like everything else in the GC.
There is no need to use Thema Mundi first. You can use whichever Mundi calls to you, based on your own life, needs, and desires. And you can also combinethem.

Oh my gosh….where to begin!
I found S+S because I love the Chani app and follow the Instagram stories and there was a post in Dec 2021 recommending S+S magical wares. I felt drawn in right away because like timing is everything, no? The idea of magical products that contain such layers of precision was deeply moving and soothing to me.
I have been blown away by the things I’ve ordered though. The energy is REAL and it is powerful. I am in awe of it and at times almost a bit intimidated but the energy also feels generous to me, like that someone who knows way more than I do is advocating on my behalf as I use these products with reverence and appreciation.
I am really just a baby witch who’s always wanted to lean into a deeper magical practice and I can say with confidence S+S is helping me lean into my wildest dreams in that regard. I am truly so grateful. I highly recommend these products!
May I also say that I really appreciate the articles. I’ve already learned so much. I get the sense that anyone who is willing to put in work and time will experience tremendous success using these magical wares.

Trust in beauty
It’s been just over a year since I started shopping at Sphere+Sundry. I never bought any magical products before, and I was skeptical. But now I am fascinated. I particularly like the way Kait presents materia in a way that helps me cultivate a relationship with the planets and their divine intelligence. It’s really moving to me, reading the writeups, seeing the photos, and then choosing and meeting actual talismanic materia and integrating them into my life.
It’s become a habit to look through the site for the pleasure and for the places it takes me. Even just looking, I’m thinking about my relationship with different parts of myself. There is so much reflection that is awakened. I love that through beauty and imagination and feeling - and real spirit connection - I can connect with what truly matters, This is how the website works and I love the offering that it is, whether you buy anything or not.
