    From the forge of Tony Mack:

    Modeled in hard carver’s wax, and Cast in 80/20 Electrum [silver and gold] with calcined salts of bay laurel, thistle, and frankincense. Casting was accompanied by suffumigation of saffron, thistle, cedar, and frankincense.

    On one side, the image of the solar titan Helios, sculpted in high relief. His hair radiates outward like the sun's rays, and he wears a diadem of bay laurel cast in gold. Set at the center of the crown is a pendeloque-cut ruby — a stone both under the rulership of the Sun and used in the creation of Behenian fixed star talismans of Aldebaran; reinforcing the Golden Titan's solar qualities with the royal watcher's characteristic potency, expansiveness, and boldness.

    The reverse side features a blazing solar disc with the face of a lion at its center — an image of the Sun’s rulership in Leo, symbolizing focused will, magnanimity, and creative authority.

    Standard talismans were cast in 90/10 electrum with calcined salts of bay laurel, thistle, and frankincense. They feature a laurel crown cast in place, set with a 1.2 carat peridot cabochon.

    Each talisman arrives in a keepsake jewelry box wax-sealed with the glyph of the Sun, and a 20" silver chain.

Note that Sphere + Sundry's Incense Powders are designed to be burned *without* charcoal, on beds of premium ash in a firesafe dish or plate. Pour ash, then pat or use a tool to create a relatively smooth surface. Pour the desired amount of Incense Powder into the palm of your non-dominant hand, and use the other to assemble a thin peaked mound, line, or sigil, pinch by pinch. These can be quite thin if desired. The neater and more ridged your shape is, the better it will burn! Light the top of the ridge to ignite. Taking time to prepare Incense in this way can be a meditative and centering experience, and allows the practitioner to create custom burn times with zero waste. If your line ends up too long, simply use a knife to 'cut' the fresh powder away from the ignited portion to use later.

    This entirely new Form was birthed by Sphere + Sundry's most recent Postpartum Release, as a spinoff of the Lip / Nip Sticks. Choose that one for general use (it's a more comfortable wear! which will surprise no one!), and this for Capricorn II things: productivity, focus, achievement, organization, and coordinated effort. Lip products are wonderfully functional as magical tools, as they specifically empower the speech. It is a very cool honor to pioneer them! This is especially well-suited to application before Solomonic works, or rituals involving the compel and command of Spirits. As well as prayers to the Goddess Hygeia, seeing this Decan is classically associated with Her. For practical real-world applications, use before team meetings or brainstorming sessions. Chapsticks bring an energy's focus to the head, so this is a perfect choice to support the mental and verbal aspects of Capricorn II's Great Works.     Mars-Jupiter in Aries Talismans (Standard) Modeled in hard carver’s wax, and Cast in 90/10 Electrum [silver and gold] with iron firescale and calcined salts of hawthorn, and frankincense. Casting was accompanied by suffumigation of cayenne and frankincense. The image of Mars with resolute visage, modeled after depictions of Alexander the Great with the ram's horns of Jupiter-Ammon. During his military campaign through Egypt, Alexander encountered the Oracle of Amun at the Siwa Oasis. The oracle, functioning as the conduit for the deity, hailed Alexander as the son of Jupiter-Amun, affirming his divine status and legitimizing his rule over Egypt. In gratitude and to solidify his divine connection, Alexander adopted the symbol of the ram's horns, an attribute of Jupiter-Ammon, into his iconography. Images of Jupiter-Ammon were later erected in the Temple of Mars Ultor [Mars the Avenger] in Rome. The image of Mars, with features reminiscent of Alexander's divine imagery underscore martial prowess exalted by jupiterian divine mandate. The other side takes the image of an Elephant, associated with mars in book II, chapter X of Pixatrix on the image of Mars. Engraved beneath its great head are the astral sigils of Mars from arabic manuscript of the Ghayat al-Hakim.
