    Capricorn II Lip Balm

    This entirely new Form was birthed by Sphere + Sundry's most recent Postpartum Release, as a spinoff of the Lip / Nip Sticks. Choose that one for general use (it's a more comfortable wear! which will surprise no one!), and this for Capricorn II things: productivity, focus, achievement, organization, and coordinated effort. Lip products are wonderfully functional as magical tools, as they specifically empower the speech. It is a very cool honor to pioneer them! This is especially well-suited to application before Solomonic works, or rituals involving the compel and command of Spirits. As well as prayers to the Goddess Hygeia, seeing this Decan is classically associated with Her. For practical real-world applications, use before team meetings or brainstorming sessions. Chapsticks bring an energy's focus to the head, so this is a perfect choice to support the mental and verbal aspects of Capricorn II's Great Works. This one is warming and stimulating, and can be too much by itself. I highly recommend pairing with a dose of Asclepius Water, or anointing the third eye and base of the skull with Anointing Oil.     Inspired by the Silverettes acquired in anticipation of my own postpartum experience, in the lead-up to Exalted Luna's working, I asked Tony if he would be willing to create Talismanic Nursing Cups during the operation. Ever the gentleman (and scholar!), he enthusiastically obliged —

    Moon in Taurus Nursing Cups

    Modeled in hard carver's wax, and cast in fine .999 silver. Around the outer edge in high relief are the 'characters of the moon' from book I, chapter 33 of H. Cornelius Agrippa’s ‘Three Books of Occult Philosophy’.

    Silver nursing cups are a breastfeeding aid designed to alleviate soreness and promote healing during breastfeeding. Cast from pure .999 fine silver, these reusable and durable dome-shaped cups act as a protective barrier over cracked or sore nipples. The natural antimicrobial properties of silver contribute to preventing infections and creating a comfortable environment for healing. Worn inside a bra, silver nursing cups provide comfort and shield from further irritation caused by contact with clothing. They allow air circulation while offering a non-toxic aid for breastfeeding mothers seeking relief. These cups were cast thicker than other nursing cups so as to provide more efficient transference of heat to aid in cooling and reduce inflammation. *Silver nursing cups are not a substitute for addressing latch problems or other breastfeeding issues.     It has long been on my wishlist to offer some form of lip-based materia, to magically empower the speech, lips, and tongue specifically, for use in ritual and practical magic. Here our firstborn [of Form] is! This herbal infusion of organic calendula, marshmallow root, and plantain in organic olive oil and jojoba, was consecrated alongside the Exalted Luna series during Austin Coppock's choice of the finest election Jupiter conjoining the Moon in Taurus had to offer.     An composite image taking elements of the 'Images of Jupiter' from book 2 chapter 9 of the latin Picatrix. “The image of Jupiter, according to the opinion of Apollonius, is the shape of a man sitting on an eagle, wrapped in a cloth, with his feet on the eagles back.." Motifs were also used via the image of Jupiter "according to Mercurius"; the shape of a man covered in a single linen cloth, as well as his holding a "lance, or dart". The back of the pendant is engraved with the character of Jupiter as written in Arabic manuscripts of the Ghayat Al-Hakim [aka Picatrix in latin translations].

Note that Sphere + Sundry's Incense Powders are designed to be burned *without* charcoal, on beds of premium ash in a firesafe dish or plate. Pour ash, then pat or use a tool to create a relatively smooth surface.
