    Classic Deneb Algedian correspondences, including marjoram, catnip, mugwort, Jupiter-ruled sage and blue chalcedony, alongside sundry other herbs and resins for boundary reinforcement and protection. Considering DA is said to share qualities in alignment with Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury, a choice election indeed! Brought to us, as always, by Austin Coppock. Oils are for anointing the Self, alongside mundane or magical objects. They can also be used, often with powder, to anoint candles and petition papers. This Incense can be used as a smoke bath to cleanse the auric body, or throughout spaces. It clears away the interference and magic of others, including maleficia and the evil eye. For the strongest effect, perform the entire Ritual Bathing Protocol using Deneb Algedi items, or pair with a quick Kolonia Cleanse and anointing.     The Saturnian King subset gets its name from a line in the Orphic Hymn to Jove, as this election seemed like a rare opportunity to capture that particular facet of Jupiter's arcana. [So if you've ever wondered what that line means... this can probably teach you ] Though I haven't had the opportunity to work with it much yet to the exclusion of other items in this cycle, it seems to check all of the well-hashed Sky Grandpa boxes covered by the series writeup, just with added virility, excitement, and potentiality. This is an ambitious, yang form of DA, whereas the base series is more passive, protective, and yin in character, Saturnian King emphasizes the Golden, Wealth and World-Building aspects of the Star. and obviously warmer, constituently speaking. All our herbal matter was fumigated with frankincense during an ultra rare Deneb Algedi election featuring the Greater Benefic conjunct the MC and a waxing gibbous Moon atop the Star, co-present with its dignified ruler, Saturn. In a world torn apart by ideological extremism (and isolation, e.g disconnection for how words and actions impact others), this subset is for the Restoration of Faith — in Ourselves, and in Humanity. A magical invitation to return to orderly, pro-social sense and right-relationship. It provides a perfectly calibrated psychic Scale upon which to weigh our own needs and beliefs against those of the world around us, holding two spaces — equal and objective — and seeing clearly the result. How the scales rise and fall (when the bullshit has been taken off them) begs the question — What is inequitable here? What is disturbing balance? Interfering with the stable possibility of true Peace? The Eirene subset provides diplomatic gravitas and mental scaffolding to correct such dynamics, all the while issuing a cardinal edict to take action. That being said, there are two sub-sets for Sphere + Sundry's first Jupiter in Pisces series: Cloud Kingdom and Empyreal Vantage, each having their own additional specialties... Both are elevating and potent, though Cloud Kingdom is the more yin, insulating, lightly hypnotic, and gentle of the two, akin to floating on a cloud-chariot hiiigh above it all, sheltered and shielded from the travails of terrestrial living. Application unwinds the heart-mind in order to facilitate letting go and letting live — detaching from nagging concerns and over-caring, and invites one to participate in the divine process of unburdened being. Relieves stressful and anxious sensations (as almost all high quality Benefic talismanic materia does, or even mundanely prescribed remedies of the modern world do), but with a distinctive easygoing, wise, and contemplative flow (and few to no debilitating side effects).     ‘One with the Aether’ Cloud King Candles

    Candles, ritually poured in our Empyreal Vantage election window over consecrated herbal mix. That too much candle dye was added to (womp womp womp), resulting in an unsafe burn for periods of longer than about 5 minutes at a time. Only the Slim Vigils work well enough to be released into the wild, but they must be treated with the utmost care. Although they are in glass, please put them on an extra fireproof surface and monitor very closely. These should only be used for short weekly devotions, but work extraordinarily well for that purpose. This is the first run of candles we’ve had this issue with, but when dealing with real magic, even the mistakes can be synchronous — these things seek to evaporate as quickly as possible, becoming as one with the Heavens.     While the goat is probably Saturn's most commonly regarded animal patron (given its association with the sign of Capricorn itself), alligators and crocodiles too are tremendously Saturnian creatures. Primordial... ancient... cold blooded... sedentary… quiet… lurky af… and above all, lethal. Their lifespan is typically from one to two Saturn cycles — some documented cases being far longer — further compounding their natural alliance with the Saturnian sphere. Two Gator sub-sets were created for this series: Swamp and Golden. Swamp Gator is, in two words: down and dirty. The downest and dirtiest in fact — its formulation comprised of actual swamp mud (graciously harvested by Austin’s absolute saint of a mother in the depths of Florida), gator vertebrae, gator teeth, and shavings of skin. All of which were ethically, legally obtained... Fun fact: the alligator population in Florida is approximately 1.3 million, and the Kingdom of Animalia is inherently eco-friendly and sustainable to harvest from in conditions where populations are healthy (in this case overly so), the animal has lived under good conditions (preferably in their native habitat), and they have come to meet a natural or necessary end. The spent corporeal form is one of Saturn’s many gifts to the living, and making practical and magical use of these abandoned Spirit-shells is a worthy tribute to our Outermost Sphere: governor of death, of practicality, and of all well-aged and lifeless matter.
