    Luna in Cancer Body Butter

Strained and combined with organic shea butter and coconut oil on Luna’s day and hour, chilled, and whipped. Smells like... the ghost of chamomile. Body Butters are less physically altering, explicitly "medicinal" forms compared to Salves, but with the same herbs in lighter concentrations, leading many to apply BBs by day and Salves by night. Use to attune to the Lunar sphere and to potentiate other materia and talismans. + all the other stuff that's been covered to death elsewhere This batch of Luna in Cancer Body Butters was stiffened using more shea butter than usual, to help offset the Summer heat in our residing hemisphere.     Engraved around the outer edge are the characters of the moon from book I, chapter 33 of H. Cornelius Agrippa's 'Three Books of Occult Philosophy'. Center is a moon-like mother of pearl (nacre) cabochon. On the reverse is an image of the bow of Diana/Artemis, knocked with an arrow with a crescent moon tip.

    An image of a fish, depicting Fomalhaut (the eye) in its constellation Piscis Austrinus, "The Southern Fish". On the reverse is the eye of the great southern fish surrounded by scales. Gold, lapis lazuli, and onyx enamel amalgams are set-over with a magnifying lens of quartz crystal.

    Fomalhaut Ornate Pendant — 2,222

    The horns became quite sharp after the pendants were cast and polished. Consideration was given whether to round off the tips in order to make the pieces more friendly to wear, but due to the apotropaic/protective nature of the fixed star the horns were left intact and not dulled. Care should be taken if you plan to be particularly active while wearing this talisman.

Incubated for many months tucked within consecrated herbal matter for the series, finished with essential oils of helichrysum, frankincense, and yuzu, and a keepsake heart of garnet.
